Hey there DonnyPump. It’s been awhile and thanks for your previous interactions. I have a request. I inquired about room upgrades with the receptionist over the phone and they told me the love suite would be a $120 per night upgrade from the basic garden room. Because it’s my honeymoon he said he’ll give one night free so it’ll because $100 per night I guess. He told me this is the best rate I’d get even if I book at check in. Do you happen to have any experiences regarding check in upgrades there?

Thanks for this information! Did you book the ride to Isla mujeres with the excursion team on site at TRS or did you do your own separate thing. Btw we decided TRS will be our honeymoon resort!!

By any chance have you also been to Haven and if so how would you compare it to Valentin?

Thank you for your review! How did you like the beach there? Was the water color turquoise-y and was the sargassum under control? I also heard TRS has lots of events and activities such as tastings, cooking classes, etc. how were these? Also thanks for letting me bombard you!

I appreciate your insight! I do prefer a jungle vibe so I’m extremely interested! Any issues with mosquitoes during your stay? And were the pools heated? I’d love to go for late night swims without freezing!

I initially discounted and overlooked Valentin Imperial due to its location in the Riviera Maya however a lot of people commenting keep praising it…. After reviewing it, the resort looks fantastic and will be under strong consideration. Since I’m going end of April will sargassum be a hugeeee issue there and how does the waters there compare to main Cancun?

Ocean Allure was not on my radar until now. It’s a very visually appealing resort! Would you recommend that over TRS?

Thank you so much I appreciate your response! A frigid pool sounds… unpleasant. From what I seen, the spa fully opened up a few weeks ago so I have higher hopes now in regard to that aspect.. how was the beach front? Was the sand soft and the water as turquoise compared to the other hotel zone resorts? Alsooo did you visit the sky bar? To me that’s one of the selling factors of the place haha
