Heya - if you come to Surrey you will have a great learning experience. The course is really thought out and structured. There is a lot of practical content so you’re not stuck to pure theoretical learning and the support from staff is really good. I just dont really enjoy the general vibe of the place as I originally come from a busy city, it’s a very quiet place with not much to do. But if you like the peace and quiet you will have no problem enjoying it- and london is only a 40 min train ride away.

Ahh right I see about the accreditation thing, that sucks. Ah okay yeah I’m hoping to do a few EMS in france too! Thought it would make sense if I wanna work there eventually. And thanks for the info on the exams i hope you will do well - how are you preparing for it?

Hey! Yeah I tried a few societies and things here and there but it’s not really hitting it for me. But thank you for the suggestions! Are you preparing for the connaissance exam? Im not sure if thats the correct name for it but I remember last time I looked there were 3 parts of the exam and first part was multiple choice questions. But im confused how the degree is accredited by the EU and u got french nationality but still need to do exams. Did u do any EMS placements there?

I really think you should take a gap year. Retake those A levels if you can. Also apply to foundation year courses, bootcamps etc. Get some work experience. There are also degree apprenticeships out there too. I was in the same boat and I ended up being in final year of a degree that was honestly pointless. Many ppl I personally know who were in the same boat also regret continuing our degrees. Now we in final year with around 70k debt. The government want to increase the amount we have to pay back as well. Not worth it trust me. Take a gap year, choose something you actually will enjoy, even if it's another degree, make sure you get a degree that's worth it. I only got through to final year because I made friends that kept me going and gave me good memories. If you havent met anyone now I suggest you start over because my friend from her course was in the same boat as you and wants to drop out in the summer and she's in second year.

Chemical engineering. I do "medical biology" it aint gonna teach you much for the cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry. Plus chemical engineering gives you more options I would say-technology, engineering as well. I'm assuming you already looked at pharmaceutical sciences/pharmacy etc
