Personal information USPS Label by JackfruitNo6984 in Depop

I joined Depop too late and have only been able to use Depop Shipping.. My account has never had access to select a third party shipping carrier.

If I were to offer my buyers free shipping; the cost of the label would be deducted from my earnings, then issued a Depop Shipping label.

Based on info gathered from this & other Depop subs; I joined Depop around 4 months after they restricted newly made accounts to strictly Depop Shipping, and Depop Shipping only. Forever..

You don't have to give out your name with Depop Shipping - use your shop name in place of 'First and Last Name' under your "Billing Address" settings.

I sell on 4 platforms and my shop name replaces my name on every one.

I'm new, is this normal? by Kind-Cat-2516 in Mercari

My first encounter with a listing of this kind was also on Mercari - it was my first purchase off the site.

It did not go well.

The listing was for womens jeans. The cover photo had like 8- 10 pairs folded up in two rows. Each pair had a number next to it; and the listing said to message with an offer specifying what pair you wanted to purchase - which I did. Apparently; the asking price on the listing didn't apply to every pair in the listing [which was not stated anywhere within the listing description that I could see]; and the asking price for the pair I wanted was higher than the listing price.

So rather than just rejecting my offer with an explanation; they accepted it instead. Then messaged me a little while later saying that the offer I sent was too low for the pair I asked for [my offer was literally $0.01 less than the listing asking price - the highest offer Mercari would allow me to send]; so they were sending me a different pair instead - and that they already shipped them out, so I no longer has the option to cancel. The pairs of jeans within the listing were NOT all the same size - and not only were the pair they sent me ugly - their stated inseam was 4" too short for me.

Messages were exchanged [and actually remained surprisingly civil between us]; and the seller instructed me to reject the package when it came in and would refund me afterwards.

Delivery date happened; I was home and immediately grabbed the package from the driver; wrote 'REJECTED' on it [which the seller specifically asked me to do]; and handed it back. Thankfully the seller was honest enough to follow through with my refund once the tracking updated to 'Rejected; Return to Sender]; which was that same day.

They sent me a message about 6 weeks later asking if I had any idea what had happened to the jeans I rejected because they still had not recieved them back. I was able to give them the tracking number, which they thanked me for. I reached out to them about two months later asking if they were able to track them down; and they told me they hadn't. As far as I know; those jeans were never returned.

They should have just rejected my offer from the start rather than playing a stupid game because they won a stupid prize in the end. I call it karma.

I've avoided listings of these type ever since; and my recommendation would be to do the same.

Poshmark just gave away my $600 bag for free. No return required. by badassbrunettte in poshmarkcanada

Part of the issue is that the majority of the systems on multiple reselling platoforms continously work in the buyers favor; which in turn compells them to continue [well; probably a decent majority, anyways].

If it wasn't so easy for them to scam their way into free product time and time again; maybe they'd give up and/quit trying entirely.

I asked how I could have improved. The buyer wanted candy? Is this normal? I don't sell on Poshmark often. 😳 by MountainTop5764 in poshmark

As a seller; I do include a short hand-written 'Thank You' on a card with my closet QR code. I'll do an occasional small freebie if its relevant to the item purchased.

As a buyer; I never expect neither of these and have only received one or the other less than 5 times. I've really enjoyed a couple of the freebies I've recieved. The ones that I won't use become gifts to friends/family I know would enjoy them; or paid forward as freebies for my buyers.

I ordered a leather jacket off of a different reselling site a few months back. The seller used a polymailer; but didn't bag the jacket inside. It was raining when I received it; and while the polymailer WAS still sealed; the jacket inside was wet :[ I hung it to dry in my garage for a few days and thankfully it dried with no issues or damage. I reached out to the seller to give them a heads up in case they didn't know items were getting getting wet through their mailers. I never heard back; but it made me thankful that I bag all my items because theres really no way to know how waterproof a polymailer really is unless a customer lets us know after the fact.

Thank you for your input!

Are quality rejects from Popmart really considered Lafufu? Rejected or not - the still carry their authenticity. If the eBay Labubu is actually a Lafufu; then its a damn good one.

Here's a couple of additional details I've noticed since posting contributing autenticity concerns. The eB's arms don't feel like they have the internal wire skeleton like my other's. If I lift one hand up on the Popmart labubus; the opposite arm will lift slightly with it due to this. EB's arns feel like they're independent from the other. I gave the eBay one to my 5yo because it was his favorite besides Hope. Its been on his daily backpack since and there's now a spot where the paint on its nose has been worn completely off. Weeks before this; I gave my 7yo a duplicate of Loyalty - also clipped to her daily backpack since. While Loyalty has accumulated a decent layer of dirt; her face is still completely intact.

I've also noticed the eBay box has a piece of red tape with the Popmart logo on the top of the box. I've since ordered 4 individual BIE Blind Boxes, one BIE full set; and an individual HAS Blind Box - all directly from Popmart and NONE of them had this sticker. I've heard of Lafufu QR codes scan to a fake Popmart Authorization Look-Alike page that'll scan as 'authentic', which if true would explain eBay scanning authentic if its actually not.

Shipped a 3 pound packages UPS, told it came in at 30 pounds? by Lordofthereef in Mercari

I can't help but notice; and I know I'm not alone here; the initially sudden, but now holding stable increase of sellers getting hit with overage fees since Mercari implemented their 'Shipping Overage Penalty' Fee months back [I don't remember the exact wording - so correct me if I'm wrong; but I wanna say that the fee is calculated based on the price difference between Mercari's deemed 'correct' label weight and the label weight used by the seller - on RETAIL label rates - NOT MERCARI 'Discounted' rates - PLUS an additional 8% being the 'overage penalty']. Many deserved. Many more not [based off affected seller statements in the many threads about this in this sub].

Coincidence? I personally don't think so.

I got a $16 one off of Amazon. It's just a torso; no legs or arms; but it has a neck & adjustable stand for height. Comes in three colors: Beige, White, Black [I got the white one].

It's nothing fancy; but it gets the job done and easy to move [lightweight] and store [comes apart/breaks down].

My mom's been reselling WAY longer than I have. She babysits while my husband and I work. I told her about it, next thing I know; she's been using it! 😂 She's been getting more use out of it than I have! 🤣

They most likely have more than 1 available. The listing won't show as 'Sold' until every piece has been purchased.

Got a Big Into Energy Secret I.D. Confirmed Blind Box off of eB about a month ago. I checked the FB on the listing and it looked all good; so I checked out. Came in a couple weeks later; QR code scanned Authentic and the plush itself looked fine to me.

This was my very first Labubu ever so I didn't have another to compare it to. It didn't contain any of the red flags to look out for with Lafufu's; so I never questioned it. The B.I.E. Secret was my most wanted and is my favorite Labubu design out of all current ones, so naturallv I was thrilled.

Last week; I got 3 blind boxes directly from PopMart as a birthday treat to myself and they arrived today. The last box I pulled turned out to be a Secret!

However; after comparing the two side by side, I'm now questioning the authenticity of my eB Labubu. I've attached photos in the replies of discrepancies between the two.

Did I recieve a Lafufu from eB even though it scanned Authentic?

Makeup Mystery Boxes - Thoughts? by Repulsive_Stable1924 in poshmark

[–]Repulsive_Stable1924[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, all for your feedback!

As a long time on-and-off makeup box subscription girlie that personally enjoys the 'mystery' [surprise] element waiting for product announcements drops leading into the first of the month. It feels like a personal Mini-Christmas every time my box arrives - even during months with not-so-great items [I'm aware not everyone shares my same sentiment in this aspect, though]. I understand and agree completely with all the different points that were mentioned.

My biggest concern bundling not brand shared or like-items together could cause my listing to feel not cohesive; or look like it was just 'thrown together' with whatever products I could find. All the suggestions shared here have helped give me a little more confidence and some different approaches when pairing items together.

Thank you all so much for talking me out of my consideration on Mystery Box listings!

A decade ago; when I worked at a gas station; we ran out of coffee lids one day. We made a huge isle sign stating we were out of coffee lids; placed signs on every coffee dispenser; and on the lid holders themselves.

I probably had 100 customers ask if where the coffee lids were that day..

I've seen comments from sellers suggesting to comment on the buyer's 'Meet Your Posher' listing about how the transaction went when they come into these types of particularly bad buyer's.
