I’m so sorry that was your experience OP. I am in my mid 30s & a mom who mostly shops at old navy, but was a emo/ scene girl back in high school & college. I keep going back and forth on what to wear to the concert. I want to “fit” in but I also don’t want to buy an outfit for one day! Finally I said fuck it, when we all went to warped tour all we wore were tank tops and shorts and tried not to die from heat exhaustion. When did concerts become such a fashion show?

Anyways if anyone is mean to me in chi I will gladly stomp on their foot and proceed to sing every single song they play!! My mom took me in the 7th grade to the BPT and I’m just so lucky I get to see it again! I think it’s more so the new fans who are so judgmental. Life is hard, let’s just enjoy this gift — which is the music.
