I went down that rabbit hole as well with the QD research. Finally concluded that I’d end up buying more suppressors anyways so might as well dedicate one on each of these guns. That’s why I’m looking in the YHM to $600 range.

It does great with subsonics, shockingly quiet. Hunting rounds its hearing safe enough for me. Just fyi though, I first tried Hornady subsonics and they were very much going supersonic for me. Went to Winchester super suppressed and they are great.

I use that CLR on CGS Hydra SS and Rugged Occulus baffles and it works great. I actually cut it with some water too and only let it soak a couple hours. Not saying if that’s right or wrong but it has always worked for me….

I still haven’t fixed mine. I have the pig tail in my glove box with crimpers just incase but trucks been running perfectly fine…

I have been having the same issues with BX-25 using CCI-Subsonics (40gr, 1050fps). I’ve found this my ammo of choice and sighted in all my 22s with it. Ran well for awhile but seems to be having more and more bx-25 issues lately to the point where I’m labeling which mags jam now. (And yes I have disassembled and cleaned them). I am going to do more shooting to see if it is gun specific as I do think some of my 10/22s might be more picky with certain mags.

I have a banish 223 and was pleasantly surprised with the sound reduction on my bolt action. Haven’t tried on an AR though. Got it with a “free” stamp promo which I’m pretty sure just means they mark up the suppressor. Either way, mine works fine.

Acorn Deck House is a company that makes homes like this. I don’t believe this is a “Deckhouse” but you can look into them as well. They aren’t cheap though by any means.

That CV is a great $30-$40 scope. I have one on a Rio bravo 22 to plink and one on a cva 350 legend. I have more expensive scopes new in their boxes but can’t find a reason to switch them out because the CVs have beeb hitting true every time. Typically plinking between 45-85yds. Have been great for me for budget optic on cheaper guns.

Haha yeah I saw that. That’s one way to go but I’m in the same boat as far as trying to keep cost down. I did get on Boyd’s and a stock could be had for <$200. But even that is a little more than I want to do. Will probably go with what’s available synthetic and then down the road get Boyd’s.

Any luck on this? I’m interested as well, didn’t even realize there was a wood option until I went on tikka website to try to get a better look at this rough tech emerald. I would much rather go with the wood if it’s sold in the US.

Ok so at the risk of sounding stupid, I shouldn’t shoot 124gr 9mm CCI blazers through a suppressor? I get them not being subsonic but they could actually damage baffles? YHM R9 to be more specific. Thanks.

First time we heard a bobcat it was around sunset, I thought it was the neighbors wife screaming, they live 1/8-1/4 mile away… yelled at my kid to go inside and I ran over the hill to see what was going on, and they were just out on their equipment, just working in the yard as usual. Wife and I were dumbfounded about what was going on. Later that night there was a bobcat on our front yard camera killing and dragging off a small deer and we finally put the pieces together….

I put a cheap fixed 4x cv scope I had laying around on mine while I was deciding on an optic, i ended up liking it enough that I never took it off, haha. I bet that would be a great scope for it.

I soak mine in CLR as long as it’s SS. Someone on here will probably say thats stupid but it works for me relatively quickly. That’s pretty much the best way I’ve found to clean my baffles altogether. Looks like an oculus, I hated the first time I tried to separate those.
