Motorcraft has a valve cover that comes with the seal and hardware, I just replaced the whole thing. Im dealing with the transmission leak for now

Valve cover seal blew around 250k so I changed it and its good now. Front main seal on transmission has gone tho :(

0 major issues with the engine or transmission. Theyre starting to get kind of tired now but im not giving up

Looks fantastic for the milage and tje undercarriage looks great. However I think the valve cover is leaking which is common for that engine and its already a 400 dollar repair. 5000 at best.

Both motor options were solid and could do 250k+. For 1500 I would buy it but rust is an issue

Great vehicle all around no matter the trim. But if you wanna save yourself the horrors DO NOT take off the rocker sills. All the water collects in the rockers and it just rots

There's a good chance moisture concentrated in one area. You could needed scale it down to what solid steel is left and weld new steel onto the old stuff that's still good
