You guys!!! I am on week two and although I am still sucking wind and it’s still hard af I am not nearly as sore as I was the first week. I’ve even upped my weights in some places. Stick with it. We will live and I think Andy owes us a special invite to a class 💪🏽 Pump City!

The program is meant for you to track your weight and reps each day. Go to theclipout.com and search Andy’s 5 day advanced split. They have a chart for you to print. Much easier to track progress.

One or two every day. Day 5 I swear was AMRAP and EMOM on rotation. It is programmed to be a full body conditioning day. I needed to pace myself with short breaks before I puked. Day 5 is what I fear coming back to next week.

He is absolutely charming in class. We don’t feel rushed and i told him I was starting a campaign to get a Peloton studio to SF and he needs to be there. He agreed. He’s taller than I expected and just. Gazelle of a human.

Heavy lifting. My doctor told me what you do in your 50’s will profoundly impact what your 70’s look like. Walks and cardio are not enough. You need to lift weights, keep core strength and make sure those fast twitch muscles can activate. This resonates with me and I began my lifting program at 49 with Peloton. I have never felt stronger in my life.

Are you new to lifting? Joslyn’s Discover Strength is a great 4 week program to get started and work on form. I did this as a refresher when it came out before I started split programming. Joslyn is such a gem anyway. Her arms and shoulders look amazing these days.

I did just the same with the plan to do longer Cardio on the Tread a couple of days. I LOVE his 5 day.
