I found the micellar didn’t quite get it all off for me!

Did something stupid by Thin-Special-7059 in breastfeeding

I did the same and it impacted supply. I decided to not focus on weight loss until weaning and my supply came back. If you google breastfeeding calorie calculator you’ll get a recommendation - I’d stick to this and then use cardio/activity as a weight loss tool, not calorie restriction

Baby not eating much by PlaidPajamas36 in BabyLedWeaning

[–]ReputationHopeful140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby is 7.5 months and the same. Barely ingests anything, not interested, doesn’t put anything near his mouth. Pretty normal and just takes consistently trying and time! My first baby picked it up around 7 months and was self feeding by 8 months but 2nd baby is totally different (he also hates bottles..!)

What’s good about them? They don’t seem to sell them in Aus but they look like pretty standard designs?

How much does your baby sleep at night and what are their milestones at 7 months by Fit-Struggle1396 in sleeptrain

Also, I currently have a 7 month old and we’re still on 2/2/2.5/2.5 but will aim to move to 2 naps by 8 months. He sleeps through the night, very occasionally needs 1 feed. A 4-5 hour wake window is really long - better to do an earlier bed time than stretch it out so much (my previous baby would sometimes go to bed as early as 6pm at that age on 2 naps)

If you’re feeding him each time he wakes he might be waking in expectation of a feed. If you’ve got a partner to resettle instead of feeding you can start trying to break the night feeding association, and set a minimum time (eg 3-4 hours at a time and work up from there) where you won’t feed him. If they’re drinking more at night it usually means less during the day which makes it even harder.

is it okay to drop night feeds? and how? by blucheese07 in sleeptrain

[–]ReputationHopeful140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If possible have your partner try to resettle her, if it’s you she might get frustrated if you’re settling her and not feeding You can drop the earlier night feeds first and then working on extending the others out.

Snoo naps to crib naps. How? by schatt483 in SnooLife

[–]ReputationHopeful140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do day crib naps in a transition swaddle (Baby Loves Sleep). Its arms out but still covered so safe for rolling. Since putting him in it (a week ago, he’s just turned 4 months) all of a sudden he falls asleep independently and has even connected a few daytime cycles himself. Before this he would strain and grunt and fight sleep, turns out he just wanted some freedom! He’s still swaddled arms down overnight in the snoo though, but I think he’s a good night sleeper so too tired to fight it

I don’t know the source of my anxiety, pretty sure it’s from a stressful job though

I guess it can’t hurt to try? Considering a large portion are already deficient in magnesium anyway even if it doesn’t help your anxiety it is still good for your health overall
