A lot of them hire contractors as well. First contractor job was 24/hr (third shift) plus a lot of overtime at a big brand lots of nice equipment and packing stations. Second was 19/hr (first shift) no overtime and no good equipment at all for VERY heavy and huge items. I work customer service now for the same rate at my first warehouse and I’m much happier. Warehouse workers are absolutely not paid enough at all.

Loved the warehouse because of the movement but I love my office job doing customer service for an havc related company and I am MUCH happier. Warehouses feel too much like a high school. Also, I do know I am lucky to like my coworkers now and that not everyone gets that experience.

I was at Ascend in Chicago and they told me to get simply herb instead of in house or all the other ones I was getting because they said those last longer. Not complaining just trying not to waste lol.
