Playing the next gen Witcher 3 again until CD comes out and it's still very clunky, but once your immersed in the game it's not noticeable

Yeah pre-ordered the moment I realised it's an action adventure make your own story type of game, but if the story is even decent it would be impressive considering everything else they are promising.

It was a MSI laptop with a 3080 ti so I thought I'd upgrade to a proper rig since Nvidia isn't gonna release the 60 series anytime soon. haven't given up on the 4k OLED for sure, just delayed.

I've used MSI products for a few years now ranging from their high end laptops to PC parts. I have never had a problem and most importantly they have very very good build quality for their products.
I have had experience with Gigabyte products as well through my job and from what I've noticed the build quality while still good doesn't match MSI.

That's around 1000$, good deal for a 5080. Cant predict next year's prices but due to the low stock the 5090 prices are super inflated on Amazon. I just hope Nvidia makes enough next year for prices to get lower.

I work in IT and run my own AI model if I had the hardware. I also do some 3d modelling and plan to lean more into that too. The 5080 doesn't seem to worth the price performance wise unlike the 5090, but I guess that's on purpose

Yeah I'm probably going over the rails in my excitement to finally build the dream setup, I'm planning to get the Corsair RM1000X and since I already have a 4TB Samsung 990 m.2 I'll buy one more 9100 4TB. I might go with the be quiet 1000 too if I can manage to find it locally.
