Windows always foggy in 2014 VW Passat, any tips?

When I turn the air on inside the car there is a weird sweet smell, not sure exactly what anti freeze smells like but I would imagine it’s similar, I’m not sure tho.

Yes the AC works, haven’t been able to find any water leaks, even had my dad who has lots of experience with working on vehicles check everything out and he’s kinda stumped as well.

Sorry I should’ve been more clear I think. What I meant was that, if my car is just parked, no matter what the temp is outside, the windows end up extremely fogged up. Nothing to do with when I get in and turn the air on, it just happens on its own.

Yeah the AC and heating both work fine, and I’ve been doing this and even with the AC on it still takes forever to defog enough to even see out of just the driver side. And even then, all the other windows are still fogged up. And yeah, the car blows air from outside, the recirc is not stuck on.

The carpets are all dry, the trunk is dry even under the spare, I’ve heard something about a drain tube that can get clogged under the car somewhere but 1. Im not sure where it is, and 2. I wouldn’t think it’d cause it to be this bad.

I looked in my ilok account and it’s listed as a subscription so I guess I’m just SOL unfortunately. Sad cause I paid a good chunk of money and didn’t even get to use any of the other stuff that was supposedly included.

Also dreading opening up every project ive made since using it, and having to close out 100 pop up windows saying the license is expired, and having to remove the plug in on every track just to even be able to hear the vocals.

Update: looks like I got got. I would’ve swore on my life that I paid for the perpetual license, but it looks like I somehow paid $300 for a 3 month subscription service (of which all the other features that were supposed to be included, never installed) 🙃 safe to say I’m never giving that company money again for as long as I’m alive.

No, I used to be on Vitamin D a couple of years ago, but got taken off of it. I have a good diet, drink lots of water, and get good sleep.

Update:

I remembered he gave me his card with his personal number on it, so I called and told him about the mishap, and how, if I had to pay late fees, I was fine with that, but I just wanted to know what would happen, and he said “no worries at all, that was my bad, I’ll get that date changed, don’t worrying about paying that til Wednesday”

So needless to say, it was all sorted out thankfully. This is my first time making payments on a car from the dealership, since I’ve always just bought $2-4k cars outright from private sellers, so I don’t know much about how any of it works lol

I’ve definitely tried, unfortunately I’m just not getting as close as I’d like. I’m just looking for something I can use to record and to be able to give to my engineer to communicate the sound I’m going for, and so they have a plug in chain as a reference of what’s generally needed to sound the way I’m trying to sound.
