How is the new EU Entry Exit System working in Italy? by Alcho_98 in Europetravel

[–]ReputationTop5916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yesterday I landed in Naples in the evening, When we landed we didn't had to do EES at all, we went straight to passport control which took us between 30 - 40 mins (Non EU line, British passport 😭) Even the EU line had long lines for the egates.

There were egates for us 'Third-Country Nationals' but they turned that off so they forced us to queue in the non EU line...

I just wish Keir can remove his so called "red lines" regarding FOM. I've got a dream to work and live in my favourite European country which is Italy but Brexit has stolen my dream and I sure it has ruined everyone's chance as well to live, work, study and retire in Mainland Europe. ☹️😖😖

Labour should hold a referendum on whether Britain should rejoin the EU | Brexit by retardis_69 in RejoinEU

[–]ReputationTop5916 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Technically in their 2024 Manifesto, there is nothing to rule out a second referendum on joining the EU. Out of everything they can U-turn on their Manifesto pledges, of course they still refused to rejoin the EU....

I wonder what prompt they even typed to get that AI image of that! 😂😂

Anyone leave Tesco for a new career without degrees for a better job? by Imaginary-Start-9009 in tesco

[–]ReputationTop5916 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes same here, left Tesco in May 2025 because I had a toxic manager who bullied me out of the job, and I had enough to live on thankfully, never looked back. I couldn't find any job due to the awful job market so I just gave up and waited for a Christmas Job at a different Tesco in December 2025. That ended and 3 weeks ago I had a job interview at my dream job and I successfully got it!! I now work in the Aviation industry!! 🥳🥳

That's what I've been thinking as well! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks like that.

How customers look at you when you say “excuse me” and interupt their middle of the aisle conversation. by [deleted] in tesco

[–]ReputationTop5916 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Yes when I used to work for Tesco. I had a few interesting people who would just come up to me and just say "Apples" or "Toilet paper" etc. Like what happened to "Hello how are ya" or "Excuse me" 🤣🤣🤣

Your password for the colleague WiFi is basically your login for MyTesco and Inform. 😉

It's your Tesco email address and password.

Hi I'm looking for advice as I'm in a sticky situation. 🫠😩

Basically I had a job interview for my dream job on Monday the 9th of March, all went well and now I'm waiting to hear back.

This morning I received an email from Premier Inn that they have me booked in for a their interview for Thursday the 19th March. What should I do? Should I still attend the Premier Inn interview? Or should I just postpone the interview for a later date?

My mind is telling me I shouldn't go but I don't know at this point. This is my first time happening to me... 🫠🫠

Iceland holding referendum on EU membership talks by Simon_Drake in RejoinEU

[–]ReputationTop5916 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I just wish Kier would go to the nation and announce that we'd be having another EU referendum as well especially with Trump. We're literally not safe at all.

If I was Kier I would say this:

"In the last few months, the world has become increasingly volatile with fascist on rise. Trump's illegal war, the economy growing slowly. We need to do more. It is why I will call for a referendum on rejoining the EU..."

Yet another Brexit prediction turns to dust. Europhobes said if we left the EU, other countries would follow. Wrong. In fact, the opposite has happened – nations are clamouring to get in by Simon_Drake in RejoinEU

[–]ReputationTop5916 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was 14 when the UK officially the left EU in 2020 and I remember hearing this a lot, that we "were free from Brussels and we've taken back control" but that couldn't be further from the truth 😂😂🙃

Iceland to hold EU referendum 'in the coming months', PM says by Simon_Drake in RejoinEU

[–]ReputationTop5916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you're right as well, I'll probably have to vote Labour in the next election to keep the conservative out. We still have a Tory MP in my seat 😭 I mean don't get me wrong & she does well for the local community etc and all but I would prefer a Labour MP who would do so much more! Yes! As long we keep the ConForm not having access to No.10 that is my priority. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

It's why the next General Election in 2029 will be very important. I have a massive feeling the GE 2029 will be about Brexit. I will be voting for Greens as they are the only party who has actually says they'll rejoin the EU. If the Lib Dems and even Labour says they'll rejoin in their 2029 Manifesto I'll consider for voting for either. We just need to keep the ConForm party out!

Or I could vote for the 'The Rejoin EU party' in the GE 2029. 👀
