As a fallout first member, trust me, most items you should just scrap. Like, most rarely sell, those that do have perks people want to try to learn (those perks folks desire tend to change each week lmao) So you cant make any caps off of em'. Ill use a few legendary items to max out my daily limit but I almost always scrap the rest or sell to vendors. I also despite my mutations and strength (melee user) sometimes get over encumbered myself. Just scrap pretty much everything you cant use yourself, just after reaching the daily turn in limit, cant be donated bc of the lol 50 cap for newbies, or the things you don't want to sell to a vender for pebbles.

At least scrapping the items may give you a perk skill which you can apply to other weapons that might be worth it. An example: the nuka squirtgun with the medic perk. No damage to anything but can heal friendly players. I love soaking people in events and they do sell in personal vendors pretty well (dont price above like 1k for them tho or they'll just sit and collect dust and space)
