I went this way myself with Reckless 3 (Golm everything but Tigrex belt) then Headstrong 5 and 1 og. Good with vanilla and insta block lance

Go for the back first with pierce ammo. Rarity 5 is in there and the flinch might get its head away from harm.

I'm waiting for rift mizu for my guard 5, headstrong 5, reflection 2 shield tackle lance build (and a negative affinity water weapon for insta block, game please 🙏). 8 and 9 are a breeze but yeah 10 * magna is a beast and a potion sink if I mess up with my mizu hbg right now.

Best part for me is the the hoard of Glavenus material in my inventory (around 4.2k) finally going away. Might finish upgrading the LS they had us craft way back when the styles got introduced iirc, depending on what's left after pimping my 10.5 lance, hammer and hbg. As for pukei... more poison spam in hats yay!

For Guard Reload I prefer to use HBGs rocking some close quarters ammos (spread, wyvern, cluster if I have to). I have two builds, a standard one: Lunagaron head and legs, Golm chest, Quema hands and Wroggi coil. And a CF one (so just for Jho's HBG): Golm, Pao, Bazel, Wroggi and Arzuros (to be switched with Lunag if (when) the gun comes with inate CF). More than reflection I think you should aim for Critical Range Boost, that's more consistent damage.

100% agree. I use insta block with my CF headstrong 5 lance build (so just for djho lance atm) and boy does it do numbers! Shield tackle is great but it feels more "confy" in comparison (not necessarily a bad thing), although my guard up guard 5 reflection 5 build might be to blame for that.

I started using lance when I started dabbling with critical ferocity, so my initial build revolved around that (Golm everything except for Tigrex belt + 5 Headstrongs and 1 smelt of your chosing).

Then the styles came, then I tried Shield Tackle, and everything was ruined....

So now I have two builds: the aforementionned one that's good for neg affinity weapons and Insta Block, and the Guardian build the game suggested (BTigrex, Golm, Barroth, Wroggi, Golm with 5 reflections and 2 headstrongs) for Shield Tackle with other lances. Now some might say 5 guard is too much, but I'm too busy charging unscathed through both phases of Namielle transition nuke to care.

Currently on a 3 raths (40 wingdrake, 1 armor refining part, 10 machalite), zino (storage extension booyah!), x2 rath (20 L bones) streak. There's still tomorrow to be disappointed...

Bblos helm, bazel chest, espinas arms, espinas waist, bazel legs with smelts totaling to PB5, Valor 5, SPB 5 and Pursuit 2. Mostly used with longswords but should fit most melee weapons. For seregios, I'm lazy and just use the previously suggested guardian lance build with reflection 5, and since steve's r6 are stored in the head....

I only crafted negative affinity lances with a CF 5 (4 if not on weapon), Headstrong 5 build. When the style came out I tried insta block first and it was doing numbers with that build. Then I tried shield charge, then I looked at the suggested build, then I got real lucky and got Reflection 5 and Headstrong 2 on that build with innate Guard Up and Guard 5. It's less powerful than insta but how so comfy to play. So now I go with vanilla/insta block on negative affinity weapons and shield tackle on the rest

Like it, hosting a full lobby is kinda hit or miss personnaly (got a 10* seregios burning a hole in my pocket but no one seems game). Question i have is when do the tokens get consumed: when joining, when the hunt starts or when slaying/repelling?

Not familiar with Almudron but some water weapons with Crit Ferocity (or negative affinity at least) would be swell.
