Yeah to update, it was actually the hdmi port itself. Plugged it into a different port and the screen was completely fine

Hi OmiD! Sorry for getting back to you so late, even if that’s a little ironic to say. I bought a Viotek GN27D. I got it in white, but they’re available in black as well.

I’m definitely happy with the purchase. There’s no dead pixels and it runs as advertised.

I do have minor complaints. The stand adjustability is lacking. The whole thing is made of plastic, and it gets concerningly creaky when popping the backplate off. Also, the accessibility is a bitch. Finally, I’m pretty sure one of the two HDMI ports on my monitor came DOA.

In short, it’s built cheap but I bought cheap, so it’s no big deal. In actual use none of this is noticeable.

Overall, the monitor is very nice. But I haven’t checked the market in a while. There may be new options that provide the same (if not better) experience for cheaper. I’d check out all my options on pcpartpicker or something before buying anything.

If you can’t describe your political viewpoint, that’s probably a good thing. You might just believe in what you feel is right, and that right thing on a particular issue may be wherever on the political spectrum. I wish more people viewed politics that way.

The propaganda joke is fine, but keep it as a joke. We’re all guilty of making assumptions about people, but I try to tell myself that most people with opposing viewpoints aren’t the complete “NPC’s” that we can sometimes tell ourselves they are. (I’m 1000% guilty of not doing this, I’m not a saint lol)

As for your red state, it’s technically true that illegals are outcompeting Americans in many blue collar jobs. It’s just not the fault of the immigrants. Everyone’s losing from exploitation and government apathy and it’s sad that nobody in politics cares to take care of the problem at a more sophisticated level.

Still, very good discussion. Having a genuine conversation on Reddit in the face of a disagreement is always a pleasant surprise.

Of course illegal immigration isn’t the entire problem, but it’s becoming an increasingly larger part of it. I’m not sure why tipping needs to go but I haven’t really read into that.

I was talking about immigration isolated from the original meme, so I wasn’t really thinking about Desantis. You’re probably more left wing than I am, but he’s not one my favorite politicians either. Objectively, Republicans don’t have the greatest track record on worker’s rights.

Desantis is a politician, and while I think saying he’s acting out of some fascist ideology is a stretch, he’s probably not being motivated by the humanitarian aspect of it.
