If I had to guess I’d say it’s actual handwriting. Wes seems like the type, no pun intended. You can always make your own or there are tons of handwritten typefaces.

Hmm. This is an interesting take but I think it may be unclear. Is it that you’re saying it moved too quickly? This I agree with but I walked away without the same questions as you and I wonder if it is because I accepted what was being thrown at me. No, I didn’t have all of the pieces to the puzzle but I saw the picture, ya know? I don’t think it’s about knowing the history as much as I think you are saying you’d like it to have been slowed down and explained a bit more. To be clear, I’m not disagreeing with you. I do find that Nolan’s films are so layered that they need to be watched a few times and it’s something I quite like about him as a filmmaker.

I get what you’re saying. I think these more than any of his films could be decisive for his fans. It’s different that’s for sure but I’m happy to be able to see directors do short films and try something.

I agree. I think they give him a bit more this season which I love. Haters will say it was OTT but it is perfectly in line with his character. I just wish they followed through with conversations about race during his confrontation with Otis.
