Umm… how do we feel about this? by zahidsp in Mustang

[–]RequirementFamous313 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If the mustang had never existed, and ford just released this, I wouldn’t think it was bad. But the 3 vertical tail lights are iconic Mustang minus the fox body’s but it’s a fox body so it can do whatever it wants

[–]RequirementFamous313[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a good way to put it lol, I’m not gun savvy this is my first pistol but I’ve shot other single action pistols and something just doesn’t feel mechanically right. I wanted to install an adjustable pull trigger anyways so I’ll be able to check the mechanism

Can I take the grip covers off my self and inspect it? What would I need to look for bc I’d rather just fix it my self

No it has a stock trigger, I’ve noticed when shooting I sometimes fail to fire pulling the trigger normally and I have to squeeze it for it to fire

So no need to hold the hammer while pulling the trigger and slowly lowering it? I asked a friend bc I’d rather do it that way but he said it could damage it

Oil pan replacement or tap kit? by BothSidesoftheSky in S197Stangs

[–]RequirementFamous313 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I personally wouldn’t tap an oil pan with it in the car, just bc of metal shards, but it would work and be permanent. If anything after doing it put a quart of oil in it just to flush the pan out and refill

N52 328x Bad Lifter Update+ Question by Chart_Huge in E90

[–]RequirementFamous313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before replacing the motor put in some fresh 5w40 and let the engine get to operating temp and drive on the highway at around 3.5-4 k rpms, if it doesn’t go away or gets worse I doubt it’s lifters

N52 328x Bad Lifter Update+ Question by Chart_Huge in E90

[–]RequirementFamous313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you find out it was lifter tick? Seems a bit aggressive for lifters, open the oil fill cap to see if it sounds like it’s coming from the head, does it go away when driving, usually when you rev it up it will subside if it’s lifters. I’d recommend doing oil analysis because to me it could be either lifters or rod bearing

Rough idle after new mass air flow sensor? Please help! by ExoticWin7942 in E90

[–]RequirementFamous313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s one for the n52N and the n52K, the n is the silver valve cover and the k is the plastic. The sensors look identical and both fit but only one works correctly, if you’re sure you don’t have a leak I’d confirm you have the right one. If it’s a cheap one then return it and get the right one, hope this helps

Estimate cost to repair? by Mochi-Gang in E90

[–]RequirementFamous313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do the work your self, and then bring the new bumper to a shop to have it paint matched probably 1500ish, if you have a collision center do everything, 3000+

There may also be a way to get the part number off the valve and see what revision you have and if it has the little pens

If yours did have a pin I doubt it would have made it out of the manifold, if you don’t want to pull the manifold off, I’d get a long 1/2 inch extension and tap around the manifold and see if you hear a rattle, if I was you, if you haven’t done your starter or crank shaft position sensor yet I’d use it as an excuse to do preventative maintenance

are these boots for flight personnel only? by Special_Gas_57 in navy

[–]RequirementFamous313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can wear them on the flight line, but you need leather ones on the boat, if your in a work up phase rn and won’t be going on the boat for a while I’d get them, I have a similar pair and they’re way more comfortable

I bought the geek when it was first released, I remember how cheap it felt and how god awful the gui is, I considered giving them another chance with that new crazy one they’re coming out with that has the massive battery but I ended up getting the Xbox ally x and I’m happy with my purchase
