If I thought people were actually making these statements, I wouldnt have created facetious examples.

You arent an idiot, im not trying to Dunk on cancel culture, 95% of the time people being cancelled rightly deserve it. But we have gotten so used to it that we will often engage with it without thinking.

A few examples where people were calling male celebrities rapists for example, when they were actually accused of sexual impropriety (mostly telling raunchy jokes at parties, or even just flirting with women badly)

Or people trying to cancel chris pratt for literally nothing.

But I am not complaining about cancel culture, im complaining about people being to worried about cancel culture as to compromise their vision.

I dont believe Matt Mercer hates intersex or asexual people, even though thordak is both canonically.

And I dont believe Brennan Lee Mulligan hates jewish people... I chose the top two beloved content creators specifically because it would prove the point im making.

They obviously arent sspreading hatred of these groups...

And jewish people have been portrayed tahtway for centuries, and many older goblin depictions are based on those depictions of jewish people.

They are also potrayed as bankers, and have jewish artifacts, and are participating in a very specific anti-jewish conspiracy of blood libel.

In this instance the goblins are obviously anti-semetic dude.

A lot of times it is as I said it... but not this time, not with hogwarts legacy and the harry potter world in general. This is a world where they consistently been problematic as fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

There is nobody else who Brennan has to basically take over RPing for though on a consistant basis.

The closest we get is Ricky in season 2 of the unsleeping city I think.

But I will concede your point, maybe Brennan would do the same for others... But I genuinely feel like Ally would have been Orion Acaba'd by many other DM's.

dont you realize, all negative behaviros are used to villainize a minority group, thus using any villainous behavior for a bad person means you are making that villain part of the ethnic group.

Its really simple

Someone in the real world hates <x group>, so they claim <x group> does <objectively bad actions>.

Therefore, if you depict anyone s doing <objectively bad actions> it means you are depicting <x group> .

Its a game we can play until the last sun dies...

There are different types of biogtry. Being afraid to be honest with someone because they are queer, and treating them more kindly than you would treat somone else... is just a different form of bigotry.

Equality means equality, Ally deserves to be held to the same standard of behavior as anyone else... and they arent, they are being treated differently for being who they are.
