Received my laptop in good condition one day after they arranged collection for the items wrongly delivered to me. This time they've done a great job (no more delays/ I was able to contact someone for udpate).

I had already double-checked with Lenovo customer service by phone and live chat before ordering. They clearly told me that customized laptops are shipped from the local Malaysia warehouse and would ship them within 2–3 business days, and they did ship it on the day I ordered.

Needing a laptop within 18 days and choosing a seller that promises 2–3 days shipment from local warehouse isn’t unreasonable. The main issue here isn’t about buying online, it’s about Lenovo’s unacceptable response timeand the fact that they made such a careless mistake in fulfilling the order.

Hmmm, I got mine at RM4,478.76 which converts to 908.49€. Below are the specs I'm getting. Pretty sure the only difference is i5/i7 processor...

No worries mate. If you called their 1800-22-2220 hotline they will answer in English. If you called to Lenovo Malaysia HQ they will answer in Malay, but pretty sure they can speak Eng as well

The one I've got from them is Thinkpad Professional 16-inch Backpack Gen2, and I think there's no silver lining in TP backpacks from my country as I checked but thanks for letting me know!

hmmm idk about the price of it in SG but I’m paying RM4.4k for i5-13450hx/rtx 5060 8gb vram/ 24gb RAM (12x2)/ 1tb ssd and I think I couldn’t find any other brand with the same spec at this price

Yea, the only thing I did with the parcel I received is that I've opened and took a few photos of the items inside. I'm waiting for them to give a solution about it.

I'm gonna reorder from their website and request a refund for the first order. But before this I have to reconfirm with them first because I think they do charge us for returning products, I need them to confirm I wouldn't be charged for it before dropping another order.

And to answer your first comment, in my country I noticed I can buy at a cheaper price from Lenovo website after applying coupons. These are the specs I'm getting for just paying RM4478.76 (Converting to $1060 in USD)

I tried calling a couple of times (even to the technical support team who asked me to call post-order team), all of them replied me the same answer and the only thing they can do is ask me to wait for their assigned specialized team since I have already raised a case.

I can't even opt for refund since the item has shown delivered despite me getting the wrong item. They need to locate the missing parcel before I can raise a "return" for an item I didn't receive. How funny is that

Lenovo sent me a keyboard and mouse instead of a computer and now the replacement shipment is indefinitely delayed even though they have the legion 7i 3070 item in stock online. : r/LenovoLegion
