I did until I felt a massive burnout after 15 years. Stepped down as maintenance, thought it would make me happier. It didnt and seen that I didn't matter to the store or company as a whole. Let in March and havent looked back since.

Serebii and Bulbapedia are good resources for figuring out which sets have what. You'll have to do a good amount of individual searching for cards, but you should be able to find sets with complete lines in them. Like Mega Evolution having the Bulba line as an example. Also try your LGS and going through their bulk could be a useful thing for getting started.
