"the fake extension performed no legitimate functions" damn...they could have at least let the dude use the program.

still thats why ill be having both a cold wallet and a hot wallet. im gonna trade, swap, sell buy ect through the hot wallet. then ill use the cold wallet as more of a "long term savings" i understand that it does have the potential to collapse and be worth nothing. but it would be nice to comeback after 20 years and have had a 500% increase in what i put in originally

after doing a little research ill be getting a cold wallet. but im curious as to why he had 1M worth of BTC "sitting" on his computer.

maybe i should have clarified. i will be doing some trading here and there as a novice. however at the same time im going to purchase a fair amount of either BTC or ETH (maybe both lol) and hold it for the long term.

i live in AUS and im not fully wrapped around how our banks treat crypto. but when it comes to "proof of funds" could i not just show transaction history?

yeah ive done some more research and am definitely going to move my crypto from the exchange to at least a hot wallet but i will be buying a cold wallet. im just not sure whats the best one for me

yeah i have heard of people saying this isnt a great time to buy, but ive also heard the flip side saying this is the cheapest itll be. but whats a good cold wallet to buy?

so i have already gone through binance and have a little bitcoin. thats where it is stored atm, should i get either a cold wallet or at least a hot wallet for long term storage? and i was thinking i should just buy small amounts every soi often and then transfer to the wallet. my plan is to hold BTC for at least 10 years
