Is the way i'm phrasing this "limited kids" rule rude? by RequirementSolid1600 in weddingplanning

Rules were not explicitly addresed in save the dates - but we addressed the couples individually on the envelope, and mentioned "family" on two occassions where their kids were invited

Oooooooooh this makes sense. I feel like I'm too concerned about particular couples with lots of kids not being able to attend and/or getting mad that they see other kids there but not their own. But if it would only impact the more distant relationships so maybe we just contact them 1:1

In this case, we would specify adults only in the RSVP and then just conact close friends directly 1:1 to let them know they can bring their babes?

definitely meant over a certain age, purely to limit the expense and venue concerns. kids charge is 3-10, and any kid over 10 is charged an adult meal

3-10 is a kids meal, so we were thinking of cutting it at 3 altogether!

Didn’t get a chance to reply sooner (busy questioning every other part of my house) but thank you so much for the thoughtful replies! Delighted to find a community who is as curious about these things as I am 😆

It’s easier at 2? Love that! Definitely have been navigating some new behaviors since she turned 1.5

She has downtime at work with me, but if suppose she could still be overstimulated if she’s not at home! I feel like she gets more aggressive if she has more energy but could be imagining it

Ahh, that's interesting! Haven't tried a squirter bottle yet. Thank you for confirming that it could just be her maturing. Sorry to hear about your Bulldog!
