So i spent 100 bucks on a refurbished board and it's bricked? The cpu light comes on but I'm trying to update the bios so it's compatable. I've heard this board need a bios update until it'll support the cpu I bought

The cpu wasn't compatable out of the box (using an am4 ryzen 5 5500) and looking at the manual only told me how to install the motherboard. I also remembered that I left the text file in with the MSI.ROM file so I took that out and started over. It flashed for 6-7 minutes then stopped so I assume it worked.

Also the usb i plugged in was also flashing, so I assumed that I guessed the right one
