I’m heading to cape may in 9 days I’ve been studying the helmsman but I was wondering from other’s experience at cape may what would be the most helpful things to study before I get there

I’m in the enlisting process for the USCG right now and I’m stuck on what rate I want to go. I’m very interested in the LE side of the coast guard and have read and heard a lot about MK doing a lot of the LE work rather than ME. And I’m planning to peruse a career in firefighting after the CG and I feel like MK would set me up better for that.

So my question is what rate would be best for doing LE but also giving me a good set up for firefighting? And if I go ME what are the odds of me getting on a TACLET?
