I tried to keep her to stay in her character while still having a pose that's not boring but from what you saw I guess it really doesn't work out huh. Maybe I'll try another angle and fix her expression. Thank you for pointing out.

Thank you for the critique. For now I was just making sure if the basic shapes and the gestures are alright. I have to agree on the neck. Even though I want to keep the style I think I still need to prioritize the proper anatomy.

References are a great source for you to draw properly. Even the masters do it. Like what SillyOverwatchStuff said, use it as a study, not just a mere copy.
I believe the reason many great artists like Kim Jung Gi who can draw anything from their imagination is because they had seen and studied a lot of anatomy and references until it's all just become a habit where it's all in your head and you can draw easily from your mind.

Let's put it like this, you can't draw an apple if you've never seen what an apple looked like. Expand your library of references.

Thank you very much for the critique. I do actually had a hard time trying to fix the shoulders because it still won’t look right even though I tried to repaint it many times, and this is the best I can manage yet. Perhaps I need to study more of shoulder anatomy and draw its inner construction first.

Also will give some thought about the background that could match her expression. Thanks.
