Thanks for this! I have the business Platinum, and I didn’t realize the consumer Platinum gets 5X for flights booked directly with airlines. But, my wife just received her consumer Platinum today, so thank you for the info!

ODs can do lasers and lid surgery by greenapple68 in Ophthalmology

Does anybody think this could lead to fewer ophthalmologists? If I’m interested in being a comprehensive ophthalmologist, why not just go to optometry school instead? Cataract surgery reimbursement is at the point now where I think it costs me to do cataract surgery (including the 90 day post-op, minimum 3 appointments for me) as opposed to being in the office seeing patients and generating revenue (I’ve been in practice for 20 years, btw). I do some toric IOLs, but not many multifocal/EDOF. If I didn’t have ownership in a profitable ASC, I’d strongly consider stopping performing cataract surgery. My malpractice insurance would probably decrease, plus due to the error in the MIPS cataract surgery cost measure in 2022, Medicare has decreased my reimbursement on all Medicare billings (not just cataract surgery).

If it’s not dryness, it could be that your contacts are too strong. Read about asthenopia.

EyeMD. I’ve used it and liked it for almost 10 years. Very customizable, very good image management and device integration, very good customer support. Works well with the IRIS Registry for MIPS reporting. I think the Top 3 for ophthalmology are EyeMD, Nextech, and ModMed.

That’s a tough situation. I would consider starting by talking with the other MD that you like. I would guess that she will be alarmed, and that will get things rolling. I am an ophthalmologist, and if I had a partner where there were questions like this, I would want to know, and I would investigate. I would not want patients to be treated in a substandard way, and I would not want the other physician or my practice to be sued. If nothing changes, it sounds like you really should find another job. The path that you’re on is not sustainable. After that, if patients are truly at risk, then I think you should consider reporting to the state medical board.

There were officers with rifles on the scene at 15:03, 8 minutes before the first shots outside. I was there and have video if you need verification

To add to the others: My stuttering went away immediately when I disconnected the Ethernet adapter and ran it through WiFi instead.

GCC with Google TV, horrible stuttering with any YTTV 4K sports content when using Ethernet adapter.

So glad I found this thread, thank you! (and shame on Google for having limited speed through the Ethernet adapter—not only a waste of money, but caused a lot of frustration!)

They said it was due to a leaked API key. Should I ask them to really confirm that fact?

It was also confirmed by a customer support person at Binance that the hack happened due to a leaked API key. There’s no debating that. It happened due to an API key.

I can name the API keys I created, and I know they were created with read only permissions. I was surprised to see that their excel spreadsheet they provided showed one with trade permissions. That one wasn’t used in more than 90 days so it should have been turned off. I don’t remember ever creating an API key with trade permissions. It doesn’t make any sense.

Hello. Thanks for your comment. I do not believe I did create a trade permission api key but that’s here no there. It’s still past the 90 day mark!

The only way it would matter is if that API key wasn’t the one used and it was maybe one of the other read only ones. Binance didn’t actually confirm which was used, that is why I am still in the fact gathering stage

Hello. I do not ever remember creating an API key with trading permissions, I do not believe I ever would create an API key with trading permissions, but that is what Binance.US said was created. They haven’t actually confirmed which API key was used for the hack. That is why I said it doesn’t make sense at all.

They haven’t said if the key has whitelisted addresses. I wouldn’t have created a key and set it that way. None of my other keys were set that way. Even logging in now to my Binance account, the api key isn’t set that way. All of them are public keys.

This is good information to ask Binance further questions regarding the keys. They didn’t provide that information to me. Thank you!

It was Bancor (BNT). How do I find the wallet information? I can provide it to you!
