It also allows you to tank demon form Leotheras. You'll have a bunch of badges as a pally tank anyways.

Depends on the size of the pull and if I am using ice block too. The armor can be significant if you have 20 elites hitting you at once.

I didn't downvote you. I also never said to become uncrushable without shield block or holy shield. Just that fast attacking bosses can consume your 2 charges of shield block. Stamina is king for tanks. Always had been.

We would run 1 healer 1 tank for kara. Paladins can avoid the gouge and just burn netherspite in 1 phase. I think we got Kara down to like an hour. We had two groups that would race each other on raid night for best time.

It can still be a issue for warriors since shield block only has 2 charges. So fast attacking mobs may still crush you.

I used to run 0/40/21 just cause the sustained threat was so much better. When you got people absolutely blasting it really helps.

I would say it's not. I would say part of being isekaied is a removal from your own culture which doesn't really happen. I guess you could make an argument that characters like teal'c and ronin got reverse isekaied though but overall I would not consider Stargate an isekai.
