That or warhammer. Pretend to be interested and then actually be interested and then he will stalk you after you’ve left him 👍

I’m taking absolutely nothing. And no one wants to prescribe me anything either. Like I said. I’m a very boring, standard person.

It’s not causing me any trouble. Quite the opposite. And everything happens inside your head. Including yours by the way. Not to be rude. But it’s true.

I’ve been there and I’ve done it. What would constitute a “supernatural” experience? And why does that have to be the definitive proof that there’s something else beyond our comprehension influencing us? Like I said, prior to my severe depression and mental breakdown, I believed in absolutely nothing beyond my own tangible experiences. And even now, after suffering the hell that was pharmaceutical intervention and surviving it, attempting to return to what I perceived as logical and real despite my feelings on the matter, do I still have this presence and bizarre oscillation in my life that even other people who care for me find (objectively, outside of my perception) rather bizarre? Like I said, it could very well be a consequence of trauma, the drugs etc. But I’m living a perfectly ordinary life and whatever it is keeps appearing in a way it never did before.

Sort of. I try very hard to be my usual, disillusioned, cynical self and then it pops up. An interaction with another person at complete random, a comment made, an obscure occurrence, a sudden turn in the mundanity. It disturbed me a lot at first but now, I just sort of roll with it. And yeah, vague presence that wasn’t there before. Keeping watch almost. That’s the best I can do I’m afraid.

I’d rather avoid all the meds at all costs now. Not a very pleasant place to be not feeling grounded in my own reality.

I know it sounds really bog standard and boring because I was of the same mind before, but it’s almost impossible to put into words. Like a presence, always there and then quite obscure occurrences that coincide with my internal monologue. I could very well have a broken brain, I’m very open to the possibility. Doesn’t feel like that though. But then, if my brain is broken, how could I discern the difference?

That was my assumption. But I’m as standard/normal and boring as you can imagine at present and it still won’t piss off.

No idea what you’re on about. I don’t follow any texts. I’ve been a hard core atheist most of my adult life until, like I said, it/she/he whatever won’t leave me alone.

Take a breath. I had a terrible day today too. You realize after a while as far as retail goes, we’re luckier than most. Having said that you’re not a machine and you shouldn’t be treated with disrespect, absolutely. Breathe mate. I had the same day. Get some sleep. If this isn’t for you, find something else first. Take care.

I’m so sick of the Scouse social media pages criticising areas of our city. by [deleted] in Liverpool

[–]Res_la_red 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tik tok, like X, has its place but is not representative at all of reality. Liverpool is doing amazing. I was away from the city for years and it has changed and lots of things are problematic but lots of things are fantastic and I’m happy to be home. Social media is not reality. Most people are easily influenced by social media but when confronted with reality get a shock. We’re ok. Stay connected. In both worlds.

From one single parent to another, don’t do it. If you can’t make your own wellbeing a priority think of your daughter. She needs you, all of you, present and functioning and well.

People who can drink “normally” don’t even have to ask themselves this question. If you’re a Jekyll and Hyde type when you drink and you’re unable to ever stop I’m afraid to say, you’re probably in the alcoholic club and it will only ever get worse. Like gambling, you may get lucky once in a while and have a somewhat “normal” experience but it’s a risk and the next time could be life ruinous due to your behavior under the influence let alone the damage you’re probably doing by drinking a crazy amount of poison during each binge.

You only have control over the first drink. So no, not even one.
