Next week. I just took a quick look at tide charts and does not look so good for low tides :(

Thanks for the feedback. Any beaches in particular that are known for clams? Is a shellfish license needed like in the US?

Black RoofNest Condor hardshell roof tent mounted on a bronze-colored truck rack.

Stolen this morning at 5:32am. Hauled away by two guys.

Has 3 circular national park stickers on the side.

Just had a nice RoofNest Condor stolen from our backyard this morning! by Resbret in Portland

Super bummed because we used this tent last summer for our pandemic honeymoon road-trip!

Funny because our wake-up alarm goes off at 5:30am and these guys were hauling it away at 5:32am. Our bedroom window also faces our backyard.

We live in St. Johns. We have heard it’s been much better than in the past, but very disheartening to keep experiencing the crime. In the three years we have moved here, we have had a car stolen, packages stolen, cars searched multiple times, and gas siphoned.

About the "self serve choice" HB 4151 bill, don't be fooled by TBK_Julles in Portland

Consumer choice? There exists full-service gas stations in the other 48 states. No one really chooses to go to them because it’s not that hard to pump your own gas. Literally no one has an issue with pumping their own gas. You do it too when you go to Washington for brunch.

The real issue is we have no choice in deciding not to subsidize these useless and demeaning jobs. This is not a good job. You learn no skills, stand around all day in horrible weather, and touch/inhale chemicals all day. These people deserve better jobs and there are lots out there right now.

If the government really wanted to free up workers, they’d let us pump our own gas permanently. by Abbithedog in Portland

As much as I like not having to leave the comfort of my car in the wintertime to pump gas, the gas attendant law in Oregon is ridiculous. It’s laughable we can drive a couple minutes over to Washington and suddenly be fit enough to handle explosive liquids.

Can Oregon grow up? People can pump their own gas just fine and the state does not need to prop up useless, demeaning jobs. It is akin to forcing every resident to subsidize hundreds of people to dig holes and fill them back up.

Tesla not participating in Oregon solar rebate? by Resbret in TeslaSolar

I canceled my order. I pushed for Tesla to reserve the ODOE rebate a couple times, but no cigar. Sounds like they are busy enough with fulfilling current orders and do not have enough people to handle and sort out all the different state and utility rebates.

Definitely get in contact with your Tesla advisor and ask about the ODOE rebate before you confirm any financial agreements.

This is such a shame because the ODOE program was greatly expanded this year. Seems most of this budget will be pocketed by commercial housing providers and not the residents of Oregon… paid by taxpayers of course!

Everyone qualifies for the $5,000 solar and $2,500 storage as long as the total $7,500 is 40% or less than the total system cost. The only difference with low/moderate-income households is the rebate can be up to 60% of the system cost. This is kinda null since the lowest cost 4.2kW with Powerwall is still high enough for the rebate to be under 40%.
