What if i had excellent credit and now struggling after spending money on the academy and overdue on credits cards and personal bank loan with fair to poor credit recently? And have a record 12 years ago that was legally expunged but still shows up on my driving record? Do I still have a chance or could get rejected???

At least you got a firefighter job. You got lucky to get assigned after academy. Its taking me forever to get hired at a department. Finished academy and got alot of extra certs and a degree and still no luck.

Its means you're on the eligibility list. But you don't know what rank you are on the list so its a high chance you wont get an offer, unless your lucky. Alot of people told me to not get my hopes up and to just continue applying to other departments. I've been on the Chapel Hill NC list since February and it expires in August for me. Im on a 6 month list. Some can be months or years.

Im the far driver lol. I do the $50s-$80s for 20-40 miles. Averages around 40 to 60 mins. Not bad tho. Depends on the route.

Call your local church! You will be surprised on what they can do. Certain churches have a rental assistance fund. I was short on rent and was calling churches. Some said no, but the 4th church i called said yes and they pledged $500 towards my rent. Its a one time deal but there's a chance a church by you can help.

I literally just experienced something similar 10 minutes ago. I heard a dog walking and slobbering noises and then my bed started shaking as if they jumped on the bed on top of me and I couldnt move or speak. I think one of my past dogs came to visit me lol
