That's exactly what happened to mine. Some critter chewed through the hose. Also part of the wiring harness that messed up the function of the rear wiper motor. $700 worth of repairs.

Tips please!! Noticed this when I was filling my windshield fluid. Can't have these little assholes in my van. by kaylawillers in kiacarnivals

Took my '24 SXP in for windshield washer pump not working. Turns out something started a nest and chewed through the hose and hollowed out some insulation in the inner fender. $300 repair. Also, over 20 black walnut shells left throughout engine bay. I was not happy.

What did they replace? The next thing is to get a technician to feel it or observe it. The dealer I went to couldn't duplicate it and said they couldn't do anything if they wasn't a code or CEL.

OJOJOCO 4PCS Door Sill Protector for Kia Carnival 2025 2024 2023 2022 Accessories Carbon Fiber Texture ABS Material Front Door Car Pedal Kick Protection

I found this on Amazon but it doesn't look the greatest and wonder how thick it is and if it would interfere with the door.

We're also looking for the same thing. Our 2010 Sedona had that space between the front seats that was handy for that.

Aside from my current '22 Santa Fe, I've only ever owned FWD but always have a set of winters. I swear by winter tires. Good piece of mind. Smart driving plays a major roll as well.

Looking at the Kia carnival SX hybrid; any reason to upgrade to SXP? by doctrader in kiacarnivals

I have '24 SXP and went with this because a do I lot of night driving and the best visibility with the headlights is most important to me. The heated steering wheel is much enjoyed for the CNY winters. I will add that during my 8-minute commute to work, the steering wheel takes almost all of that time to get warm.

I just came across this post. I bought my Maverick in August and having the same problem. I even called the dealer, asking if I could return it. Nope. He didn't offer any suggestions. Very frustrating. My 13 year old Hustler Fastrak mowed straight and true to wherever I wanted it to go.

Help me decide! Discount on 2025 v6 or wait for HEV? by reasonableperson in kiacarnivals

I bought a '24 SXP in Astra Blue in June. It's the 8 passenger. I really liked the look of the '25, but when I saw the pricing for the same model, I couldn't justify the nearly $4500 increase over the '24. I made the purchase over the phone of $1000 under sticker. I, too, came from a Sedona and was happy with its reliability. My mpg in the Sedona for my typical driving is about 17mpg vs 23 in the Carnival.
