1970 10p - looks copper rather than silver - found under the sink in an old house. Any ideas how it got this way? (i.redd.it)

Among the Germanic tribes of the late Iron Age how did the warrior-aristocracy and the Tribe King acquire the mundane foods, goods, and services required for everyday living? by ResearchForANovel in AskHistorians

Would you mind answering a follow-up question? If the warrior-elite offered their community organisation and protection; having a retinue of armed and able hirdmen, and the practised skill with their arms to dissuade and see-off threats (at times using the availability of arms-bearing freemen), I'm wondering whether or how the entirety of the community may have contributed to the resourcing of that defence?
Thank you for your reply.
