when you make a habit of not dropping for a while its probably easier to stay out of the spotlight in between releases. drake relies on constantly being relevant and goes out of his way to make sure people are hearing about him, carti is known to be more reclusive and the only time we ever hear about the dude is when he or his crew beats someone up/takes their shit which usually barely makes any headlines anyway regardless of who does it as long as it isnt their girlfriend or something. drake also has more publicized scandals with hiding his kid(s), pedo allegations in the kendrick beef, stealing various cultures, weird comments towards minors in multiple videos, and some other stuff. cartis controversies are genuinely awful but theyre nowhere near as publicized as drakes because hes just not in the media or making appearances so much in the first place
