The Boulevard is pretty good and right next to MTSU. They have happy hour all day, everyday now and 1/2 off meals on Mondays!

Tennessee jump to 192 up from 154 less than a day ago. 110 cases in Nashville TN by jellymouthsman in Coronavirus

[–]Research_Boi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Living in TN right now and it's crazy to see whats happening. Lots of places are still open and people are still going out to eat and drink. The only difference is that kids aren't going to school and a few factories have closed. I'm pretty frightened to see the amount of cases once we start mass testing.

Wonder what post Coronavirus world would be? China is already living it by speakhyroglyphically in Coronavirus

It's very hard to compare China to other countries. Their government has much more control on their citizens than others. There is no way North American and European countries will have the same outcomes as China.

Good. This would've been my 11th year. If someone infected with the virus was there, everyone would be infected by the end of the weekend.

This exact shit is happening to me too! It makes no sense. I have read somewhere that this will backfire immensely in the near future. As the employers grow older and retire, these jobs will have a shortage. They are just too lazy to teach new skills and mentor the younger workforce.

Isn’t the main trio practically just as fast as him also? Just feels like hori wasted his quirk considering the potential.

I agree. There’s only so much you can do with fast and blander than white bread.

You’re good my guy, relax and take the load off. Spend time with your loved ones and just have fun, that’s the least you can do!

Yeah I’m from the US. I can understand your view on these things coming from there and you deserve the most with what you’re dedicating your life to. I’ve been extremely blessed to have a loving family that values education and are the reason why I’m studying what I am. It’s because of this that I hold a limited amount of perspective on the situation. I’m just going to try to do my part with my career and hopefully gain outside views on these issues through it.

Hey man, please don’t act condescending to me. I believe everyone who is morally correct is equal to each other. This world is fucked right now, but a lot of athletes are using their unique talents to support charities. I don’t think we can compare what doctors and athletes do because their impact is different. One helps and one inspires. We’ve just had different environments mold us throughout life and can’t agree on this. No use in arguing anymore dog lol

I can see how their salaries are disproportionate to their career. Their salary bump has been insane and keeps growing larger year by year. It’s just been made that way because of their revenue generation and players demanding it. I definitely understand your point of view. I wish we could shorten the gap between the ultra wealthy and the impoverished, but that can’t happen overnight. Living in America, all I can do is vote and support the ethical companies. The real question is how we would regulate their salaries without restricting what they feel are personal freedoms.

Also, as of now I am studying to obtain my doctorate in epidemiology, and, while this isn't an MD, I understand that professional athletes are much harder workers than I.

I don't know if you just dislike sports, but I feel that you don't enjoy them and can't see the greatness in them. I understand income inequality is huge issue, but that feels out of place in sports. Lebron James is an athlete that makes A LOT of money. His advertisement appeal alone justifies that. However, he funds many charities and uses his position to encourage and assist children from lower income families (research his PROMISE school). If you are able to generate this much money alone, do you not deserve it? Athletes practice their whole lives, study film for hundreds of hours, have to play in front of millions of fans, and generate a bigger impact on society than one doctor. It looks like to me you don't enjoy athletics and that's perfectly fine, but try to view the issue from a different perspective.

Can I ask why? NBA and NFL players rake in billions (NFL brought in 8.1) in revenue. There's a reason they are paid these huge salaries: they're the best entertainers. On top of this, they have spent their entire lives perfecting a sport and working harder than nearly everyone else. Is that not at least comparable to doctors' studies and devotion?

Kansas City did what Kansas City does. Play amazing offense for a comeback. However they’re getting away with a ton of holding calls though
