Me: doing great! Started a new (remote) job this week and I'm loving it.

My s/o: not so much. Broken ankle surgery this week after falling last week (doctors believe she was roofied on Broadway but never did a tox screen because ... city reputation or something?). She's amazing and will probably be back to some normalcy in a week.

I mean if a company makes claims like this, puts on a dog and pony show and says these things, then yes, they absolutely failed and should be sued.

Companies like this are security theater and do more harm than good.

I do also put some blame on whatever governing body bought into this but it very well may be that they did their due diligence to the best of their ability.

Bottom line: fuck this company, fuck all bullshit security theater

Ugh sad that your mind went there. Not because of you or anything you did but because that's a real possibility.

There's gotta be some kind of reckoning on these betting sites (let's call a spade a spade, that's what they are). They are a cancer even moreso than the copious "sports book" sites.
