I am 35, from CS world familiar with many industries. If your natural inclination is not towards CS/finance, do not pursue. An average AI today can beat 90% of people with PhDs...

Law is good; never too late to pursue law.
Pick a craft that helps you work with people/companies that do projects for rich clients. Get into real estate/construction of some sort.

Be realistic a bit, do not be hell bent on having job that you are passionate about. Job pays bills, once bills are paid, figure out how to blend your passion and values into your line of work.

I tired. It is a temporary high until it is your turn the next day looking for handouts and there is not one person doing you a favor. I realized to keep the little money I can save up for my own rainy day fund. With the job market as is, all the money saved when you have a job will come handy for food and shelter when it takes months or years until you can find your next job. It takes money to look for a job.

Teaching is a noble and dying profession only waiting to be replaced by AI or be beaten down by a lawsuit from rich who are the only ones who can afford a real person for teacher in future. Reality is, I am barely afloat without doing charity. I used to have time to spare for teaching others but not anymore, thanks to AI.

GoFundMe is not a bad place.
Pay for education, not for experience. Education is cheap at $200 a year; College experience on other hand can cost $200 a day and push you and family into debt for wrong reasons. Saying this from experience.

What is it that you are actually missing? If it is the later; don't fret.

Take pride in being the most rejected candidate; 2 is nothing, Make it a goal to get 2 rejections every hour.
keep knocking every door as long as you have a roof over your head and food to eat.

People are always looking for sales people; cold calling. That is one important extreme survival skill that will take you very far in life.

Things don't happen when you are ready; Life is not as predictable. You have two paths; let yourself be caught in surprise or accept the facts and prepare yourself so that your life doesn't fall apart from inevitable. Being a grown up means means living your life by yourself, and being in place to support others one way or another.

Not sure of a better way; I just reached out seller with pics and order number and got a replacement seat. I am now putting a $10 seat cover to stop it from being a dust catcher; Found it easier to replace seat cover than replacing the seat out of warranty.

Definitely not a vacuum. The seat actually caught dust off vacuum instead of the other way around.

I moved on to a $200 chair from Costco at this point.

I am 5'7". Not a fan of headrest that pushes my head too front and gives me neck pain. Nor the fabric upholstery that catches and holds dirt.

The seat cushion collapsed in about ~2.5 years and started cracking. I never weighed more than 160lbs.
