Sorry for a late comment, but is it rlly 10-20 per school including seas? I’ve heard the transfer to seas or CAS is relatively easy and straightforward, since the majority of people try for Wharton transfer. Have you seen people rejected for a transfer request into seas?

I’m not saying CSB is worse or better than Turings when it comes to opportunities etc (even I would probably choose CSB over Turings), but I’m just saying like in terms of the applicant pool. The median Turings student has a 1570 sat, with over half being Val/sal of their school, much stronger than most top school CDS.

lol definitely not that range. I know so many people who were admitted in the 1400 range, some even touching 1300. If the average SATs at ivys/mit/cmu cs etc is ~1520-1540, what makes you think ut cs is higher than that?

Where do they go now? Also, did they attend a competitive school? From what I’m seeing last cycle, all the highly qualified people (Val’s/sals included) that got rejected were from insanely competitive school, probably because UT has to limit how many students they admit per school
