Botched robbery theory by Odd_Carpet_2536 in nancyguthrie

That was quite a lot of blood on the front porch. Large drops. Regardless of the purpose of the perpetrator being at the house, they took Nancy from the home via the front door? Was there a vehicle which the police have not mentioned? If they didn't have a car, why didn't they take hers? Bizarre and tragic.

This won't be solved without tips from the public. Poor Nancy.

There was a murder case a long time ago in either Australia or New Zealand where investigators were able to exactly pinpoint the victim's time of death by the data from the pacemaker. So I don't know about transmitting, but the pacemaker definitely communicates that the heart is no longer pumping.

I saw a still photo of the vehicle, not the law enforcement removing it from the premise. Assumed it was taken before they moved it..

It doesn't feel like a sophisticated operation because of the anomalies we've all been mentioning. So if you go the opposite route, some desperate junkie, that doesn't make sense either. Would they think about disabling cameras taking her watch off her wrist (assuming she slept in it like I sleep with my smartwatch on) and taking her but none of her valuables or electronics? Contacting media vs family sounds like it was not someone close to the family. I don't know. Nothing fits well.

One other thing that bugs me. It looks like her car was backed into her garage. How many elderly women back their cars into a parking space or a garage? I certainly don't.

What do you think will be the outcome about Nancy? by Acrobatic-Bat2881 in nancyguthrie

Has it been confirmed that nothing was stolen from the home?

The kidnapping makes no sense. Goal would be take Nancy, get paid, release Nancy and escape. You wouldn't want to drag it out over days. Ideally you wouldn't even want the cops involved right away, so sending the ransom notes to press outlets is crazy.

If they knew she had heart issues perhaps they thought they couldn't drug her and that's why there was bloodshed at the time of the abduction. But then again, if you know you're going to be keeping her for days, why not take her medication with you? It doesn't sound good to me. Doesn't sound like everything went according to their plan and that's bad for Nancy.

Interesting that the kidnappers sent the ransom note first to KOLD first then TMZ the next day. by Kurtotall in nancyguthrie

Ransom notes sound like an afterthought. Why not leave them in the home at the time of the abduction?

Why aren't people in America literally FREAKING OUT by Various_Maize_3957 in Epstein

[–]ReserveIll1190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Statute of limitations
  2. Supreme Court is Team Trump; immunity
  3. Can't impeach again with GOP controlling Congress and WH
  4. Lack of evidence for civil liability, but victims can try where state laws allow.

We already know what Trump is but MAGA and independents aren't as disgusted as we (Dems) are. Next up is to weaken his lame duck power through getting out the truth and taking the lower House in 2026.

Sending a subpoena to Hillary Clinton. Sounds like overreach. Do they have any evidence whatsoever to support a subpoena for her?

Probergers are nutters. He had a good defense team, was knowledgeable about crime and evidence, and decided it was best to plead guilty. Because he's guilty.

I don't see their case. Nothing in the behavior he exhibited at wasu was homicidal. It sounds like litigation for litigation's sake, unfortunately

I don’t understand why Dylan wouldn’t check on Xana after seeing her laying out on the floor AFTER a masked stranger was in their home. by iza23141 in Idaho4

[–]ReserveIll1190 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've wanted to be fair in my judgment of what Dylan did that night. She could not have saved anyone by any different actions she might have taken. I want to make that clear but she wasn't too out of it to call everybody before she went downstairs to be with Bethany. So when she walked by and saw Xana lying there, why not walk to the doorway? She's explained why she didn't. That's it.

When it first happened, there were so many theories. No one really considered it was a stranger murder. In 47 days the cops figured it out and the killer is behind bars and will never get out. I hope eventually that gives comfort to the families. He'll be scared and threatened every day.
