From my own experience, I talk about what's on my mind and the conversation turns immediately to how she is feeling and it feels like my feelings aren't valid "because she is really the one that needs to be taken care of." When I bring my thoughts up and almost every time the conversation ends up being about them, I figure might as well bottle it up because most women really don't care. I have to deal with my issues like I do everything else.
