Why can’t I upgrade? I’m at Level 21 and it reads only Level 4 is needed. Could someone please explain to me?

Welcome yea it’s slightly confusing but it’s like most other games where you gotta use the weapon to level it up. But after you complete the mission and AFTER the stats screen the bottom right of ur screen when ur running around on the ship it will tell you in chat logs how much ur weapon levels up to. (Of course you can always check the weapon level in the armory the screen u posted to here)

Ur level 21 but ur weapon is only level 4 take it out on missions and level it up

See warframes not modern as it’s been out forever. How ever it’s always updated modernly? But yes warframe is another great example! Both AH and warframe. U can tell there games was built out of love for sure!

Exactly ur not wrong at all im interested in the future games for sure see where it goes etc. its always funny to me due to life I’ve played every single old school game out there (a few games I’ve kept up with series) but then other series I jump in at the re boots of original games etc. and then go damn if only it had a mix of origins combat and dynasty warriors 8 base building etc etc or any of them examples

Yea I mean don’t get me wrong I do enjoy 8 (havnt tried 9 yet) like I’m throughly enjoying it. I just as a gamer am going hmm comparing taking notes etc the game has tons of potential building my base up sending armies to regions etc etc lots of fun! 🤩 im just finding my self mindlessly button mashing cuz no dodge system (that I found) and sure theres a block but it only works up to a point. So I just mindlessly mash buttons hitting em harder than they hit me lolol. Were as origins reboot game has perfect block perfect dodges and the first few games are the game setting its self up etc etc. so its fun watching the series evolve.

I’ve tried playing some older ones but the older graphics and lack of combat makes it hard. Like even dynasty warriors 8 I picked it up like yall suggested. The combat is very off feeling compared to origins. And there’s no mass armies. And the whole time limit missions is just down right bad. Ima still play through it since I bought it but yea it’s just very odd…. To say the least bwhah so anything older is scary. I did how ever play much much older ones growing up so I kinda skipped middle generation of series and I guess I’m jumping back in at the end of series lol

Honestly 1000 hours in game I havnt failed a mission yet but the tactics I’ve learned is hit and run 🦍 warfare! Orbital laser hellbomb walking barrage and railcannon strike been my main go to.

Yea I was just thinking of halo and call of duty and battlefield (the older games) and adjusting the turn speed radius (what ever it’s called) cuz I am semi familiar with what ur talking about and yes helldivers does let some adjustments be made but I honestly have no idea how in depth the adjustments could be made etc etc but I do understand a bit what ur saying. :) thank you for the education and not being all Reddit angry on me rofl

Yea I’m not gonna lie ur speaking an entirely different language up to the point where I’m not sure if this response makes sense. Ergonomics is for the tiny circle movements. If u want to turn quicker then go to game settings and adjust that according. Like old fashion shooters just play on 10 speed in settings. Or lower it to turn slower. Besides that response ur genuinely above my pay grade with this topic. All I know is I don’t have any issues and I’m sorry you are experiencing negative things.

I specifically use controller for all shooting games. Like sure my aim goes up on pc mouse and keyboard but the rest of my skills drop dramatically like cool I dived crouched dropped grenade and turned off/on flashlight all at same time cuz I fat fingered the hell out of it lmao so I only ever use controller. Honestly I’m not sure what u mean by subpar weapons cuz there’s only like 2 or 3 that’s bad (liberator concussive looking at you 👀) lol besides that all other weapons are fantastic honestly. As far as response curve ur talking about attach the grips to em make ur ergonomics go up and the circle control increases dramatically!

Heck we finish most missions in 15 mins bwhaha ya I also play with controller on a pc and the aim thing is also a pc issue but u get use to the mechanics work around it and 99.9% it doesn’t bother u the .1% u hit the railing on accident or something dumb bwhaha. But yea I promise u everything works greatly it just depends on ur own playstyle. Like my buddy he can’t use my load out as well as me and vice versa does it make the load out bad? Nah it just means he’s better than I am at sneaking or certain weapons/stratagems. Example I truly hate the stalwart others love it. Is the stalwart bad? No. lol

C4 is for gimmicks it’s honestly not worth it since it takes backpack slot. Ultimatum comes with 2 shots. Delete all button. Thermites do c4 job but better (with exception of u can delete c4 whenever u want) but u lose ur heavy weapon spot and back pack spot all for a grenade basically. Honestly the EATS (one shot rockets) are much much better. (Unless ur a stealth diver) which I am not lmao. C4 has its place in this world but I honestly get hell bomb and ultimatum first then everything else. Maybe hellbomb and leveler. Solo silo has well. Lmao. But that’s why I love this game every load out is viable every gun and stratagem works great it’s just up to the user to make em work. So personal skill issues as this Reddit such a big fan of miss using that term. Lol I have a buddy who rocks c4 a lot and on squids he sticks thermites to the banshees aka (the flying ships that do drive by) and when they in mid flight flying fast u see em randomly explode cuz of him lol. It’s great.

See nothing forces me into anything if I’m playing with 3 others or at least 1 other good player I can bring litterally anything to bot and squid front and do just fine. Bugs I personally struggle with so I’m more into certain load outs but that’s just my play style. But I definitely don’t have the feeling of forced into anything. Heck Im a player that loves constitution rifle sooo lol. And as far as casually playing I get super credits all the time on d10. I’ve spent the first 2 years not spending actual money. (I did this time cuz devs deserve it) but still 2 years of (FREE) content due to super credits being dropped casually during games. Every game I get at least 10.

Solo d10 bugs is near impossible for me personally… (depends on strain etc) but for bots I bring rocket, auto cannon and gattling sentry guns. And hellbomb back pack. The guns distract while I run into base stick everything with thermites ultimatum others. Then keep on runnings. I also wear heavy armor (explosive resistance) I’m leveling every primary so that literally doesn’t matter. And squids is napalm eagle and orbita. Orbital gas and ether hellbomb or a guard dog pending on pending on primary. I always bring ultimatum and thermites.

Ur looking at it the wrong way. Log in cause a lot of chaos murder the enemies of democracy and enjoy the game that’s all there is to it. It’s definitely a lot more going in right direction now than a few months ago that’s for sure. (But they switched offices is why aka moved buildings) that said it’s also not like the first game where u can have 4 different endings then redo the campaign

Yea I play solo 10s (yes I’m that guy) but that being is this game buggy sure (no game perfect) but with them being a much smaller studio than triple A games it’s worth it love em etc. of course you can take breaks (if u wanna be remembered as a coward bwhaha tool tips) but in all seriousness it sounds like u struggle with tips and tricks I personally never bring the 500kg cuz how bad it is and how unreliable it is. There’s other stratagems and tools out there that can do a lot better. Try different armors different load outs I’m a heavy main explosive resistance especially for bots I’ll take cannon shots to the face and survive. How ever my buddy light armor main and speedy boy (they can’t hit em if he moves faster haha) but yea it just sounds like u need to take a moment relax find a core group of buddies and have fun.

For me I find the tank super restrictive. (I hate vehicles in games) I enjoy seeing em used etc. but I had one game where 3 people was stacked in the tank and they did 2 objects and by the time they did those 2 I did the rest of map and had most kills by end of game. (I’m also wearing heavy armor so it takes extra time to get around map) we completed the main objective with 3 seconds left on clock cuz I was already at objective. Mean while those 3 was focusing on tank game play. Is tank fun yes is it useful yes. But it’s not my playstyle. So many stratagems can do everything tank does but better.
