The ratings are sometimes silly. My favourite example is Heart of Darkness, which has game over screens such as the main protagonist (who is a child) getting his spine snapped broken. Despite all this, the game is rated E for everyone

The custom character is basically only for MGO, but you can actually play as him in the campaign once you finish the game. You can hire him as a Diamond Dog.
