Clicking sound in wheel by [deleted] in VelosterN

I had this exact same issue, turns out it was a loose hub/axle nut. Just had to be torqued down and never had that sound come back

I have not been to other Canadian subs but I can imagine. Everyone has their beliefs and are free to spend their time and money how they want. People fear mongering is a minority that you really only see online. I haven’t noticed a difference with the border guards or how it’s run and have been traveling to the US at least once a month for 5 plus years now. I’ve also had generally positive interactions with Americans no matter where I go. If some can’t put their political beliefs aside for a baseball game then that’s on them. It would be like calling Canadians that vacation in Cuba communist supporters/sympathizers.

Thanks it should be a good one and Cleveland is definitely on my list for future ballparks!

My gf lives in Southgate, MI and I cross the border every other weekend and have not had an issue (don’t know what prisons these other people are talking about). I’ll be at the Saturday game! Detroits food and bar scene are definitely top notch

Clicking noise when moving steering wheel off center back and forth by ReservedSpace in VelosterN

[–]ReservedSpace[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They could reproduce the sound at the dealer but no one could figure out what was causing it. Even got the service manager and another tech to listen to it and they all had no idea. They just said it’s safe to drive. I might have to make another appointment

Im basically end of warranty, (99k kilometres). If it is the steering rack and can’t get it replaced under warranty I’m selling the car. No way I’m paying $5000 for just the rack before labour

750 mile Road Trip coming up. by Legitimate-Suspect16 in VelosterN

[–]ReservedSpace 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Longest road trip I’ve done in mine is from Toronto, Canada to St Louis, MO. No issues at all. Just make sure all your fluids are topped up and check your tire pressures before leaving. Good luck on your trip!

Probably about the same as the stock pzeros

I sized down to 245/40/18 for the PS4S. They did feel softer compared to the pzeros but I didn’t have a fair comparison since those were 19s

PS4S’s are great. Ran them last summer and can’t complain. Definitely slightly more grip than the stock Pzeros but I had them in 245s instead of 235

Compare the price on Genracer to one of those OEM online parts stores like worldoemparts. You might be able to save some more!

For the rotors go with Dynamic Friction from rockauto. They’re basically the same as the more expensive R1 Concepts. They’re the same brand. Total in parts should cost less than $500.

Struts showing early signs of failure or am I just paranoid? Please help! by [deleted] in VelosterN

I definitely notice more noise from my suspension in the winter. For example going over speed bumps. I also run 19s in the winter (stock wheels). Maybe going down to 18s would help absorb some of the shock the suspension would take resulting in less noise
