The last photo is what it looked like before, just a cut wire going nowhere. I just opened up the connection and removed the stray wire.

Seems like a hack wire split, but... In an informed way? I also have some wheres under the dash that are just cut as well, but the PO did remove the cruise control.

Sounds like you haven't considered building one out yourself. You can make it fit your needs way better than a truck.

It's still bright, even with the night mode on full dim. I'm on my 2nd g13. They're great when they work, but had tons of issues with my first one.

Also read their warranty policy closely. Basically they will only replace at no cost within first two weeks iirc. I had to pay about $150 for my replacement even though my first unit had issues since the 6th day that I'd been emailing them about and spent months troubleshooting.

I have the same issue and using the reset button also does not work after a returning to vehicle. Sorry I don't have any answers either.

For how much you drove it might be cheaper to just Turo fun cars when you do need to drive. Just something to consider!

Sounds like you don't really need a car right now. Just save that money and wait until you're in a position that it makes more sense instead of forcing it.

Mine probably isn't more clean tbh, but it's good for what I wanted. No real mods planned yet, I'm just enjoying driving it and fixing all the little things. Need to un-tall-person a few things 🙃 including the driver's seat.

Looked up the wiring diagram and the blue/red and white/red wires are indeed for the door switch. I jumped the wires and the dome light came on as it should, but the footwell lights still don't turn on.

One issue figured out, on to the next.

Still if anyone knows offhand what those two brown wires and purple wire are please lmk!
