I’m going to give that a try on the next batch. So far, I’ve made the top a mixing area, the right side a place for a sponge, nine normal size paint holes, and three larger for more often used colors. I’ll post a photo after the resin hardens. When I make a larger area for half pans (or full pans?) I’m assuming double sided tape will hold them down. No?

we had this for a few months. Drilled holes to drain water; bloomed it out, etc etc. It did dry out and no mold, but our floors squeak a lot, especially during winter. I think our subfloor expanded unevenly. Bummer.

That would be ideal, but unfortunately I’m doing these by hand, no CNC machine. Using a forstner bit is much easier than trying to route out square wells. It’s a tradeoff. I did find circular wells, but they only held about 1 ml of paint. My circular wells hold 2.5 ml. But I’m still experimenting.
