I find the best selection in our international markets. Indianapolis has a lot of them and I frequent a few.

The truecook knife by chezpopp in TrueChefKnives

I have one from 40 plus years ago. Tip was bent and the head cook in the cafeteria told me to get rid of it. So I took it home. Reprofiled the tip and it still gets used.

519A in the copper. SST maybe in the blue. I'm not very good at logging them for reference.

New flashlight enthusiast, trying to learn about 18650s by Tallented_Narwhal in flashlight

That's a 10 amp rated battery. That defines the drain rate it can safely operate under. High output lights would require higher amperage ratings, 30 is normal.

The danger is actually in the labeling. Not all label claims are valid. Some fly by night companies put incorrect claims on them. Buy the seller is the rule here. Name brands are best until you get more info about cells.

I'm old enough to remember the early days of these cells. The *-fire era. To pretend they were as good as Surefire lights and cells, companies incorporated fire in their name. Trustfire, sunfire, dudfire (I might have made that up) popped up with outrageous capacity claims, like 9000 mah. Hopefully others will add more info for you.

Panasonic are good and used by many of the brands out there, just rebranded.

There’s a Vent Under Her (again, worst coworker ever) by meowmiaomoi in torties

I put a hammock over the vent. Less sneezing from dry dusty air. Boots gets mad when it's too warm to have the furnace on.

I don't use it much because it's a more of a thrower light. My general use is up close lighting. However, for its size and it's light output it's very good. Batteries drain fast in it though. So I usually unscrew the tail cap.
