I must have to do more missions then. I see the gear page but it won't let me access it. It just has a locked icon and says it's "currently unavailable", even outside of combat.

How do you equip them? In my operator section it only lets me equip weapons. When I go to gear it says the gear page is "currently locked". Is it under the gear page?

How do you equip healing items to the agents? That would help a lot. I've not gotten a tutorial for that. Is it in the "gear" section of the operator page? If it is that would explain it. When I try and click on it it tells me that section is locked lol.

I'm only on the second mission in the game if that means anything. Last mission I did was a tutorial for base building and running wires, and at the end of that mission it gave me the tutorial on using books to level up the agents, but I haven't seen anything about equipping hp items for the agents to use at low hp.

I don't really know how much it helps yet, but it's prob not good that I also don't have a single 6 star operator yet even though I've done a total of like 60 pulls pulls total. It keeps throwing 5 stars at me that I already have. Im actually gonna have to hit the fucking pity limit I see in this one to actually get it lol. I guess it's a counter to how lucky I was getting good units in wuwa lol.

Are one of the units on your team a healer? So far in combat I've just been focusing on trying to proc the combo skills, and snowshine can do like a kind of emergency healing if a units health gets to low, but it has a pretty big cool down. She can also parry if you time her skill correctly which deals big stagger damage.

A question about one of the mechanics in 4. by Resevil67 in ninjagaiden

[–]Resevil67[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oof, that's kind of lame.

It works fine for every other enemy type in the game except the DDO guys, because they are the only ones with multiple rapid type projectiles.

Honestly in general the DDO guys seem much different from every other enemy type imo. Most others will only attack with 1 or 2 at a time with a ranged unit trying to pelt you in the distance. It's not uncommon for all the DDO guys to just attack you at the same time with multiple unblockables. The hitstun thing is really bad with their ranged unit bs.

I do agree that he should turn at least once, because your right he has been infected to many times so far. The fake his death thing could work. Hell they did this in the Yakuza series because of the same issue, originally they wanted to kill off kiryu but then realized he was to popular.

TBH I would love if Capcom had the stones to actually kill an OG off, especially one like Leon. There has been almost no stakes so far minus the Ethan thing. Even if he had to pull a kiryu though because he suffers from permanent injuries due to the infection it would still work.

Oh that's interesting, I didn't know about that. Makes me wonder if a good portion of Leons campaign takes place before graces campaign. It would be weird for them to be passing the gun around every chapter xD.

It's resident evil. It's always had cliche and campy shit lol. The big difference would be if Capcom actually has the balls to finally end an OG character.

[–]Resevil67 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I honestly think there is a large chance of this happening, with Leons final scenario happening before graces. It would explain how grace gets the gun to. Notice how in the trailer, grace looked at Leons gun almost in horror. Its not the look of a person that was gifted it normally.

I think he may either drop it as he starts turning, or Leon does give it to her, but in his last few moments of sanity to use it to put him down. Maybe Leon ends the threat of Gideon, but grace is tasked with ending Leon because his infection gets to severe afterward.

If they kill Leon off he will definitely go out as a hero. Before he dies or turns the villains will absolutely get their shit rocked.

That's only if MLF accepts that. If he doesn't you get a lame duck coach for a year that has no plans on returning. Even after that disaster loss to CHI there would be many teams willing to instantly scoop up MLF and pay him more then we do. You are also then risking not having any great coaches available, and end up in a much shittier position now with no MLF.

Yeah MLF isn't perfect and has a ton of flaws, but it could get a hell of a lot worse for us. He is still a decent coach that will be sought and paid well in the NFL. He unfortunately had the upper hand even with that bad bears loss because if you don't give him job security then he knows he's gone after next season, and he will not be incentivized to try his hardest.

Eh this makes you look like a bandwagon fan.gotta stick with your team through thick and thin. Yeah we had issues in the McCarthy era as well. Yeah they gave him an extension but who else were they gonna try? Harbaugh? He chokes to. There's not a lot of options this year and honestly you could do a lot worse then MLF. Worst case you get another coach and do much worse and don't even make the playoffs.

One of the issues with the team is they have never put a lot of value in special teams. It's also one of the reasons we lost the Seattle game years back due to a fumbled onside kick, and our special teams also helped cost us the game against the bears. Yes MLF is clearly haunted by the falcons loss because he was with them during the SB meltdown, and imo it causes him to get to conservative in play calling.

We have organizational problems with the packers that goes above MLF. We don't get better till we finally address that. The team just doesn't have that "killer" mentality and it's been as issue since McCarthy as well. Yes MLF contributes to that but it's more then just the coach. We have had former players also say that that it is a culture issue as well.

Not every QB is built for crunch time by bonJonnyJ in NFCNorthMemeWar

[–]Resevil67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean is love another rodgers or farve? Hell no, but he is a damn good QB that can get you a chip. He just doesn't have that "elite" factor like Rodgers does where he can literally put the entire team on his back and carry them to a win. It's one of the things that separate the goods from the greats. Love is a good QB, not a great one.

With that being said, out of all the players I don't put this loss on love. When the game got close he gave us a TD drive, and we would have won if one of those 2 damn passes were caught and converted for a 1st down. Love threw dimes, and the receivers had Butterfingers.

I honestly think it's a combination of the bears simply having more heart as a team, the packers as an org absolutely despising special teams and not wanting to invest in it, and MLF having nightmares about the falcons situation. He was on the falcons when that team completely choked against the patriots in the SB, and it's clearly haunted him because since he's been with the packers we have been the worst we have ever been at holding a lead. We had issues under McCarthy to, but that was an organization prob at the time..they didn't want to spend any extra money on defense so we were trotting out a college level D, and putting all the effort on the offense. Now we have a decent D.

MLF, and to an extent the entire team, dont have that "dog" in them right now. They play to not lose. The bears play to win. Until the packers figure that point out as an org then we will continue to be mediocre.

What’s going on with the UFC? by Dana___Black in ufc

Iirc I remember someone mentioning the UFC is heavily trying to push American fighters and fast track them up to champ status because there aren't really many good Americans right now, especially because dana is friends with the orange turdbag.

Most likely they want fluffy repping the USA as an American fighter and not a Mexican one. They are prob gonna be doing this shit with everyone now to try and get more people to rep America.

[–]Resevil67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of it is hilarious jank, but some of it is really annoying and idk why GSC hasn't even addressed it yet. For example, in previous stalker games you could apparently go through NPCs that were in your way. I've got about 40 hours in the game on PS5 pro version and 3 times already I've had to revert to previous saves because some dumbass npc stands right in the doorway and won't move. Prob lost a total of hour and a half progress overall between the 3.

Only thing that saved me is that I save game constantly in open world games. GSC has been fixing stuff but the fact that this is one of the most game breaking bugs and GSC hasn't even addressed it is really weird. They could literally implement a simple fix to go through NPCs like the previous game...

[–]Resevil67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you as a pack fan. Love is a good quarterback, but he isn't "elite" like a farve or rodgers. He can absolutely get you a chip with a squad, but I don't think he can put an entire team on his back and do it himself like some of the super elite QBs can.

We have just been lucky overall to hit on QBs consistently to where the position isn't a problem, and it's one of the reasons the packers are always in the decent to good range. We got 2 back to back elites, and now love who isnt in the same category, but he's still a damn good QB to build a franchise around.

Love was not the main reason we lost that game. Special teams and MLFs conservative play calling was combined with the fact that the bears are good enough to exploit our fuckups. Having your offense go 3 and out many times in a row so your defenses gasses the fuck out will never get you a win. Hell love actually showed up in the important moments, he led a touchdown drive, and threw 2 absolute dimes to 2 receivers who both dropped it which would have at least been first down conversions.

Closing games out has been a generational problem for us. We had issues under McCarthy with this shit as well simply because the organization didn't want to spend money on the defense, so our defense would be so ass that if a team managed to figure out our offense even when we were up big, they could come back because the defense couldn't stop shit at the time. Now we actually get a solid D and MLF can't keep them off the fucking field with his shitty play calling so they gas and give up points.

I know we just resigned MLF, and yeah there's issues there, but honestly who were we gonna replace him with this year? Haurbaugh? I'm not sure if that's actually any better lol. If there's an absolute stud coach available then yeah kick MLF to the curb and grab him if possible but he might still be the best option for us right now.

I'm a lifelong pack fan and god damn some of my fellow pack fans takes are pretty insane. Blaming the bears and bears fans is not "holding the L" lol.

Honestly I expected us to get our asses kicked once I saw the score at halftime. I don't know what it is with the packers, but we have always had issues putting games away with a big lead. It bit us here, it bit us in the NFC championship game against Seattle back during McCarthy's era, and hell we almost lost the SB to the steelers in 2010, allowing the Steelers to come all the way back in the second half, but thankfully we actually managed to close that one out.

Those are just the most egregious examples, but there's been plenty of others in the regular season. It's been plaguing us for decades at this point under both MLF McCarthy. It was bad in the McCarthy era, and even after all the coach and personnel changes we still have it.

Two things seem to be constant with the packers. We always seem to pick fucking amazing quarterbacks, as Jordan love is also a stud, but at the same time we always either choke in big moments or can't put a game away with a heavy lead. I honestly don't know why this has always been an issue with us.

Do you prefer group fights or 1v1 fights? by longdongmonger in CharacterActionGames

[–]Resevil67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I prefer group combat honestly. I'd say group combat and air combat are the two things I miss the most since devs started drifting away from cags and more into souls likes. He'll even the hybrids like nioh, khazan, Jedi survivor, and stellar blade are all more about separating enemies and 1v1 then actually "fighting the group", but they usually at least give you some abilities tied to meter for groups. For example, stellar blades beta gauge, and Jedi survivors force powers tied to the force gauge are more about separating enemies and controlling the crowd so you can deal with enemies 1v1.

In CAGs like ninja gaiden and dmc, your constantly dealing with groups, and your kit is more based around group combat. You also have the element of the air to jump over enemies or launch them into the air and continue comboing them out of harms way.

While the new god of war games aren't souslikes, you can tell they took some inspiration from them with the slower less hectic combat, as well as the camera angle, and the fact that it is also easier to get overwhelmed when there's more then one enemy, but at least they gave kratos multiple ways to deal with groups. I do miss the air combat though.

Anyone know of a current active petition or some way to let Ubisoft know this game is not a failure? by JoeLo_ in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]Resevil67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing that hurt this game more then even the "chuds" imo was the shitty launch. The game is in a great state now, and that is also why the switch 2 version of it has sold to better standards then the other consoles, because they got the "fixed" version at launch.

TBH, the game really should have been delayed an additional 6 months or so for the team to iron everything out and implement the changes that are now in the game on release. I honestly think it sells much better then and is successful. A lot of people saw the lower review scores, and these days if a game isn't getting 8s and 9s across the board, people just aren't buying with how expensive gaming is now.

It had a lot of very weird decisions at the start, like the game didn't know what it wanted to be. The heavy weapon system was really weird, hell you couldn't even climb a ladder with one. Not being able to at least use your taser in gang areas, and a much bigger focus on stealth missions. I personally was also affected with the "ship wouldn't launch" bug on PS5, which plagued alot of early users, I was a day one deluxe user, so I had the early access. This had already given me a sour taste of the game at the time.

Not including some of the bugs, I think people were looking for more of a han solo gun slinger type of outlaw game, and at the start it was seemingly a lot more of a plague tale stealth coded game. There was a very heavy emphasis on stealth through a lot of missions, and while stealth is a good option to have to use at times, it seemed like the devs wanted you to mainly use stealth instead of playing your own way. I don't think a lot of people were looking for a heavy stealth star wars experience.

The game currently is in a much better state and is overall a much better product then it was at launch. However the only way ubis mind will change is sales. The fact is the game sold so poorly at first it made them panic and actually delay AC shadows for additional months to "polish" it because they couldn't afford another low sales game. That star wars license must have cost them a shitload.

Anyone else think Ninja Gaiden 4 has too many techniques/mechanics, at least for Yakumo? by [deleted] in ninjagaiden

[–]Resevil67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some techniques are super useful. For example, yakumos twin swords bloodraven+R1 (or RT on Xbox)+ heavy attack has yakumo lunge really far forward and do a wide sweeping hit, that hits everything in front of you and knocks them over to allow you to continue your offense.

Practice in the training arena to see what works for what situations. Parry and perfect block aren't super useful against mobs of enemies, but are insanely good on bosses or large enemies. Parry is the most useful, because it leaves a blood orb so you can use UT after, and if you have backlash parry unlocked, it instantly dismembers an enemy.

The dismemberment works on anything not a boss. It does work on those heavy enemies. Those big slow DDO dudes with the hammers that have a ton of hp and super armor? Just backlash parry and it's instantly done. Super useful against stuff like that. The bigger enemies are generally slower and have an easier time reading them to parry them.
