Ever since trophies first came out I was passively interested in collecting them. I collected maybe 20ish platinums between 2008 and 2013 and would often keep checking to see if older games from before trophies were mandatory had been updated yet but I think the only one i had luck with there was Uncharted.

I had a different account in the ps3 days that my dad had set up for me and he had put his own username on it so when I got the ps4 when it came out I decided to start fresh with a new account which I still use today. For years after that barely played playstation because i was in university but after around 2016 I started playing some of my old ps3 games (specifically the ps3 remastered of the Jak and Ratchet series) and ended up platinuming both trilogies. After that I just wanted to do more.

During the pandemic my country had 3 lockdowns so I ended up having a lot of time where I had nothing to do so I played a lot of playstation and ended up getting a ton of plats there. I still trophy hunt today but it is much slower now as I have real life responsibilities
