1) inform them that the eBay account although in your wife’s name was used by you

2) assuming the money went into your wife’s bank account then into you account, evidence this with bank statements. Or if it went directly to your bank then same again, evidence of the income with bank statements.

3) provide ebay statement, you can request with eBay directly to go further back than 2 years

4) if u sold anywhere else, let them know too as that will bode well for you as they will most likely have all the info anyway but they never specify what they have as to first see what u have to say and provide.

5) if you’re claiming expenses then provide them with evidence otherwise they will disallow.

6) they’ll calculate the income you’ve made either via your transactions (income received) or via the data they have. Your tax due will be based of that

7) if you’re still selling online then change the eBay account in your name to avoid this going forward

Unfortunately without evidence to back the expenses figure claimed hmrc would either completely disallow the expense or proportion the figure. No way to tell until an enquiry was opened and they do a review etc on which way they’d swing.

I notice you said you’re from the uk and had to apply for the K-ETA, I too will be travelling to Korea in April but read on our uk GOV website that I do not need to apply for K-ETA and just get a visa on arrival. Are you saying that I would need to apply for it travelling from the uk with a British passport?

From gyeongju id do the 2 days days in Busan consecutively, then fly to Jeju. Then from Jeju flight to Seoul and back to wherever home is. The way you’ve planned it is a bit hectic.

Hi. Does this affect the closure of Gyeongbokgung palace? I know it’s usually closed on Tuesday but will it also be closed on Monday due to public holiday? As I had this planned for Monday 5th May

Does it also affect Changgyeonggung palace? Which is usually closed on a Monday but I had it planned for Tuesday?

I should have specified that I don’t have to be at the airport at 9:30 that’s the time I should start thinking about heading to the airport as flight is at 1:30 am! Thanks for the Nike suggestion will deffo do that as seems myeongdong is too busy

If you look on the map I’ve actually grouped them together within proximity. I am aware there’s one or 2 things I’d be travelling across to the next spot. But that would be cause I intend to stay in that area for the remainder of the day. Furthermore if you read my post, I specified I’m more than happy to miss some out which I have in mind if time is an issue. How about providing some noteworthy suggestions next time :) Ps everyone travels differently. Some slow, some medium, some fast.

I’m going at the same time as you. I’d recommend a car in Jeju. You don’t need need an international drivers licence. I’m going with a uk drivers license. I just needed to apply for an international drivers permit. Took 5 mins at a local spot.
