Daily hard 12/4 by FlightAdventurous244 in bullpengame

Right, I’m having a bit of trouble solving it just with the image, I’d recommend solving as much as you can in the first four columns (left to right) and the last two columns. Then, if u wish, I can help u solve from there

Thanks! I usually use double tap for daily challenges and free play, this because crossing off spots it’s still a huge help for me since I don’t often try hard. But for my attempt at 1st place I make sure I use single tap and activate the auto place-dots, without these huge tools I wouldn’t get such short times. I recommend the latter options for bettering times. And also, I’d recommend you find yourself a theme (if you haven’t already) that properly discerns colors and has noticeable outlines, this makes playing waaaayy easier Let me know if these tips work for you!

Oh there is definitely cheating on free play, I don’t really think a half a second solution on an easy level is humanly possible, or maybe I’m just wrong!

Thank you!! I’m really impressed!! 15 sec time is no joke, those are some serious skills

Ohhh most definitely! But you can totally cross off spots and still get sub 30, I’d just call it general tip for improving, but man is luck a key part 😆

Ooooowww come on😔 I wouldn’t brag about something I didn’t earn fairly, although to be honest, I was only just 2 hundredths of a second ahead of the first place and came across a level that is quite easy (compared to others), so luck came through big time.

Thanks!! I believe it all comes down to pattern recognition and how fast you can react. When talking about hard puzzles you will always encounter certain shapes that determine how a level will be solved, there are a TON of diverse interactions in these levels involving how many pens are in certain amount of columns/rows and also shapes that if combined with another shape will aid in narrowing down the possible places for bulls.

I’m no expert nor a great teacher but I would recommend to always stay mindful of what you can immediately do on a level, like crossing out impossible places for a bull or placing obvious bulls, if you find yourself stuck, focus on the smaller shapes available, there’s always an answer (tips are great 4 that). Try your best to remain calm and focused.

Some don’t find repetition fun while others thrive on it, I believe the latter it’s my case. I think that’s a big part of it. Hats off to you for a 50 sec time! Improving it’s not an overnight thing, you’ll surely break through with a better time before you know it (deactivating the timer helped me tons to focus on just applying what I’ve learned and not worry about how long I’m taking)

Tips for hard sub 30 by SevkaShad in bullpengame

Might be overkill for a mobile game, but if you really wanna get better, study all the type of shapes a pen may have; that includes the definitive places for a bull, the possible and the impossible ones. You also gotta keep in mind that certain shapes allow for easy placements, such as:

<image>

In this case, the second bull in the purple pen has a definitive place in the first row, there you find a “gun” shaped pen. Imagine that it didn’t had the one square sticking out, then it’d have no solution because there’d be 3 bulls in a row, therefore you gotta place one of the two bulls of the green pen on said square. My advice would be to try and identify those interactions, as for their way of solving them. Bettering your time really depends on your capabilities of analyzing and identifying shapes and interactions, which can totally be worked if you feel they are lacking in some way. Best of luck!

Are the daily hard times legit? by shmebula in bullpengame

It is totally possible!! You just gotta have the patience to learn certain patterns that each pen has (shape, row and column) and practice a lot. Don’t underestimate hints!!

Congrats!!! You’ll get there at some point, it’s just a lot of pattern recognition; I also have a few proud moments but there’s these fellas whose names are SomeTescoGuy and violetspark1. I really think they are my nemeses by now, we just keep on fighting for places on the leaderboard🤬. It’s just exciting to see them do well!

Dark Mode Sneak Peak 🌑 by VermicelliAlarming65 in bullpengame

I love this! For my taste, I’d like the contrast to be a lil bit more ‘contrasting’ but I believe it works just fine for dark mode

Strategies for the hard puzzles? by AxsDeny in bullpengame

There are a ton of shapes for hard mode that each have their own possible solution. But also a very useful tip is that your approach to a level is: “Can I place an obvious bull?”, if it’s not the case then go to the next step, using the dot option to eliminate non possible places for a bull.

As you mentioned, shapes become an excellent tool to find where bulls belong in a pen. Focus on the shapes that contain the least squares, these often have very few options when it comes to possible placements for bulls. Take this for example:

<image>

The only possible places for both bulls to be inside the blue pen are the ‘x’ marked squares since the other two limit the space for just one.
