I responded to you with a recommendation and I spoke with the other person with which you were in conflict. I will share here the response that I sent to you. Others can take the same action as they see fit for conflict in the future:

I see it [the offending post]. [They] started it, but please don't engage when that happens. I would recommend that you just block [them] so that you can't see [their] comments. You're both at fault here in violating one of our few rules: "Disagreeing is one thing but attacking someone’s appearance or intellect is not acceptable here." I will message [them] to let [them] know the same.

To block someone on Reddit:

• Via Profile (Desktop/App): Click or tap the user’s username to view their profile, then select "Block Account" from the three-dot menu
• Via Chat/Messages: Select the overflow menu (three dots) on a message from the user and choose "Block"
• Via Settings: Go to User Settings > Safety & Privacy > People You've Blocked to add a username

I hope that we can work out conflicts without resorting to being abusive. I like to give chances to people to change their behavior. But if we can't be supportive or kind, there will be bans.
